Thanx sooo much for posting this. I only vagely remember this show, course I was maybe 3 or 4 then, guess I was catching the reruns even then. I would have been almost a year old when this premired. I was crazy for the live-action show during my preschool years, lot of happy memories. What was your source for this? Hopefully, Universal might release the cartoon as a companion DVD box set to the live-action show. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Once again, thanx for posting this.

This animated version of the Jack Webb produced series,originated on 9/8/73,when

all three networks first applied the "rivival' genre,when their Saturday morning toons

were all based on popular TV series,like this one. NBC also brought back THE ADDAMS FAMILY and the Emmy-winning STAR TREK,durring this line-up. Fred

Calvert did a good job,doing this cartoon series-years before his MUHAMED ALI

cartoon in 1977. i met him in Honolulu,when he tried to do a cartoon studio here

in 1978.

I remember watching Emergency as a child I didn't see the original airings as I would have been like 1y/o when it first aired, but saw shows later when I was like 10 or 11 years old (I'm guessing). I never knew till recently that there was a cartoon spin-off of the show

I can tell you that I was 8 when EMERGENCY began in 1972 but never saw the animated version. This is great for all us "OLD-TIMERS!"

Giving away my age, but I was four years old when this originally aired on Saturday mornings. I don't remember this show, but then again, I don't remember a whole lot of what I saw on TV when I was four (with the exception of the prime time Emergency!, Captain Kangaroo, and Match Game '74. LOL). Thanks for posting this!
