  • Hoy, Hoy, Hoy!!! This is the best live version of RNRD I found so far on youtube!! You can tell Lowell was feelin' it!

    Sigh.......

  • Funk orgasism.

  • I still have and treasure my front row ticket for Birnmingham Odeon on the same tour

  • This is a primo live version of "Da Doc". One of the best on youtube and all are excellent. Is there a pure Lowell George Little Feat playlist floating around Youtube?

  • One very talented, very wacked dude....gr8 band chemistry....4eva......

  • Meaty. Love it. Thanks.

  • I saw them in Hamburg on June 18, 1976. I also saw the WB promo tour - also in Hamburg - but that was Jan 75. It would make sense that Manchester was early June, then the continent Pink Pop a few days before Hamburg on June 18, 1976.

The sound is fanatic and the pics are great too! we were the lucky ones to have seen them then no doubt. It is good to be older now but have that in our heads and hearts.

  • @yurolson ur right it was early june '76 in manchester ...saw the concert..why i remember the date cos i have exam paper to sit the next mornin..it's june definetely

  • All this hot weather make me want to hear southern bands. Loved Lowell George

  • Check out my "Skin it Back", a new collection of slides from this great concert!

  • First time I saw them was at the Orpheum, but it must have been the next time they played there (had to be late spring early summer 76, 'cause that's when I was stationed there.) Charlie Daniels opened for them and sat in for "Willin'" I became a believer that night. Glad I got to see them twice more with Lowell when I got back to Texas.

  • No it was just Feat on their own (or maybe there was a support - I can't recall). rayoll you may well be correct. I got the date from a fan site which listed dates...

  • Was this the Warner bros tour with Feat, Doobies, Tower of Power & Montose + others?

  • THanks!!! Some wonderful pictures here!

    NAncy

  • I believe the date is june 2nd and not feb 6th...is this show up anywhere? on the dime or HC or?

  • Hey thankyou so much for the great pictures.

I was front row at this gig -caught a bus from Nottingham n slept God knows where overnight. Saw em in Manchester in Jan 1975 - first gig outside the USA I think. I have a ropey old Memorex cassette of it. Any ideas how to present that to the World would be helpful

    Thanks again for this.

  • Thanks Messmitch2. Little feat have a fan site called featbase. Maybe they can advise you if the cassette is a rarity. I have tried and failed to upload stuff to Dime and Hunger City, but you may be more savvy than me!

  • As i've not heard of Dime or Hunger City, I doubt that I will be more savvy! Thanks for the tip, I'll go an have a look and thanks again for bringing back some great memories

  • You are most welcome. I used to sell these, but I've had the sudden urge to share them with the world. That tape is potentially of great interest. PLEASE mail someone at the fanclub. Someone will know how to get it on Dime. I'm not a Feat expert by a long way. Just posted a Lynyrd Skynyrd slide show. It's very nice.

  • Fantastic! Really amazing pictures!

  • Thanks for all your kind comments. The effort was well worth while!

  • AWESOME...great pics!!!!

  • Fantastic! Thanks so much!

  • I usually avoid slide shows, but the pix and the music here are awesome!!! Thanks for your efforts and for sharing. Love it!!!!

  • Totally awesome! Thank you so much. Little Feat, 1976. A rare bottle of wine.

  • Excellent - thanks!

  • Thanks!!!
