You can't compare the two really. dvx's are standard definition as where the HVX is HD. you can record in 24p which is hd witha dvx but it won't be as good as an hvx. for me the dvx's are better but thats only because im not a big fan of HD for skating.

oh my vx has staightup dirty heads and no way to clan them, the tape wont clean enternal heads so igot a gl1 for dirt cheap but might get a vx2100 or a dvx, oh and idk 20/20 i meant the light

yeah. you should sell your vx and gl, gl's aren't very good. and you should get a vx21k. but if you have the money i would definately get a dvx100b.
