  • thanks again, a new years tradition.

you do a wonderful job, What's with all these know it all's leaving ignorant comments?

  • This is mostly the way my family has made them since long before they migrated from Denmark to America. They are fabulous and far better than a traditonal pancake although there are some similarities.

  • Æbleskiver are not danish pancakes......

  • You are not cooking them right-- ableskiver are suppose to be round like a ball, not oblong. You need to do 3-4 quarter turns to get the correct shape.

  • @tk0880 In Denmark most people cook them like the woman in this vid :P

  • @tob0x I disagree. First, she spelled aebleskiver wrong. Second, Arne the Aebleskiver master from Denmark who has his own aebleskiver mix company, would disagree with you. He has a video on here called "Making Aebleskiver Danish Pancakes with Arne" watch it

  • @tk0880 Æbleskiver are awesome, and you are probably right.

  • So is it 2 teaspoons baking powder or 3???

  • I don't know how to reach the creators of this video: They have you whip 3 egg whites but they show that you do NOT add all of the egg whites. But....how much DO you add???? This needs to be put into the video as it's not clear if Vienna adds all the egg whites in later or some are left in the original bowl.

  • I wanted to update my reply: I received a lightening fast reply from the creators of this video. You DO use 100% of the beaten egg whites into the batter, although the video implies that you do NOT use them all. Special thanks to the person who responded back to me so fast!

  • If you were paying attention she told you that she added 2egg whites to the bowl and saved the last egg to show you how to separate the yolk from the egg........

  • haha :D It's not Danish pancakes XD Danish pancakes is much much bigger and are very thin :D but i can only say that i Love Æbleskiver(Aebleskiver)! :D

  • Thanks for posting this up...looks awesome

  • Very good video! This is exactly the technique my grandfather showed me how to make them, and how I make them for my children.

  • great job! by far the best ableskiver vid on youtube. We will be making these on new years day.

    We also use buttermilk!

  • Dammit, now I'm hungry!
