I main Dudley as well unlike ryu and ken he is a little maybe even mor than a litle harder to play.Dudley requires good execution skills and good smarts.He doesnt have as many great pokes or footsies as Balrog,Ryu,Or Dhalsim.And yes he does have some matcups which woldnt faavor him such as Gief or Hawk. Use F+HP a lot especially on divekicks of rufus and other charcters (Yun and Yang) or HP that works aswell.F+HP combos afterwards.and when you have him inthe corner score a knockdown and mix up

@smatrai between Overheads F+HK and cr lp into cmbos such as Cr lp+ Cr lp+HK+Ex machine gun + Ducking upper or if in corner - Ducking upper and follow with Cr HK+ Ultra 2 .While in the corner you could also EX Shortswingbllow then FADC into Ultra 2 for full animation

@smatrai He is harder to play, execution and spacing wise, all the characters that you mentioned can afford a few mistakes, and Dudley can't, Dudley relies on links like f.hk > s.hk and c.lk > c.lp > s.hk, there is no shenanigans or safe moves like rush punch or rekka , if they escape from your links or even punish you after a blocked exmgb you are done, people that are not great at execution should stay away from Dudley, I'm playing Dudley since I uploaded this video, and if you miss, you lose.

Try this:

EX Machine Gun Blow, sweep (down + FK) as opponent lands, duck (back, forward + kick) + FK, Rocket Upper.

@pratikh the sweep after a ex-mgb is shorter(less altitude) so the duck upper would not connect(unless is ex), and besides, sweep+duck upper does not generate that much ex bar..so you could not use the super(but you can with the ultra2)

his jump high kick is good against dhalsim . though the timeing is strict. i main dudley and no character is a bad match up. the only problem i have is people that turtle alot and most of the cast have those moves where its like get out my face move

@Bigfellr focus is not a option you can keep pulling on dhalsim, and random uppercuts and normal anti airs to counter his stuff is just plain stupid, I found crouch medium kick to be his best option when dhalsim is goin crouch fierce...score a knockdown and dash for total offensive, pull a meaty overhead or forward medium kick and if he teleports go crouch fierce instantly to counter his headbutt or medium kick...then when hes jumping and using fierce in the air to run go for focus dash

Dudley is best in the game, trust me. He has ridicuoulsy many options and 10 overheads etc. Can link to ultra from everywhere anywhere and so on.
