  • Thank you. He really is a nice boy and getting very big. I may have a new video of him soon. He goes to his inspection on Tuesday the 25th of September. I hope to repeat this cross next spring. Both mother and father are quite nice in looks/movement and have golden temperaments.

  • Loved this video! Little guy actually wanted the halter back on I think... :)

I wrote, Lovely animal, that filly, I like the way of training from your horses, so relaxed!

I have been riding in the woods with Obbe fan Petersburg and he is super!!!!

  • Excellent video! That's a beautiful foal! We also have a Friesian colt, His name is Thunderbolt... sired by Anne 340 out of Emma. He's now 15 months old. I have a video montage of some photos here called Thunder's First Day. (his first day at our farm)

Good luck with your new baby!

  • Good luck on your colt as well. These friesians are really a joy for me. I love working with them. I am sure you do too. My best to Thunderbolt!

  • Sweet little one..... well my little foal was as easy as him.... so I know that can be done just so need...;-)

  • oh ok. Thanks. I hope all goes well. :)

  • was that the first time that the foal had a halter on? i'm no horse expert but it seemed like the horse accepted the halter pretty quick

  • We started putting he halter on/off a few times a day when he was about 4 days old. He is indeed very good with it. He "leads" (not really leading - we have a line under his butt) extremely well for being so young. Thus far, quite easy to train. We'll see :)
