The reason Buffy ended up in the ground is because they didn't get to finish the spell due to the demons breaking the vase. If they finished she would have been teleported out.
@naruto753852 nope. eve if they finished it she'd be still in her grave, because Xander later says that they bring her back on the sam place where they had left her (meaning in the grave). (the scene when they all see Buffy for the first time)
@MonicaJKelly See, I think that technically now Faith is the actual slayer, since Buffy died the first time in S1 and then Kendra was called and then when she died in S2, Faith was called. I've thought about that too but I think it doesn't really matter then that Buffy died this past time in S5 - Faith is still the slayer. That's just what I think tho :)
So I take it you're not a Spuffy fan? ;) I can see how people aren't on board with it but it was an interesting change-up for sure. I didn't mind it. Season is actually one of my faves I loved how dark it went, I think that may have been a result of changing networks. But again, if everyone had the same then it would be a boring world. :) Looking forward to the Angel S3 review.
@CaptainJackHarkness4 Haha, no not a Spuffy fan - suppose I'm a Bangel lover :) I know it went along with the story and Buffy being depressed and everything but I just didn't like it. I do like the darker tone of this season, especially Willow's story arc - that was actually the best part, in my opinion. I felt kinda bad reviewing this season because I don't like talking about things I don't like, so I didn't want to come off as too negative, so I hope I didn't! :)
in the bvs world i think vampire cant love but they have obsessive kind of love, that why spike could not take no for an answer. I think buffy and spike are just ew wrong.
@MonicaJKelly Yeah, I think you're right - I mean Spike loves Buffy but it is just obsessively love, but really lusting after her. And I agree, Buffy and Spike were just wrong!
I think that Spike and Buffy insanity is more entertaining then the trio. EVERYTHING is more funny and more enetertaining then the trio.

@naruto753852 Maybe but it did seem like Willow and Xander realized that they should've dug her out first.
