1. I have no idea. I think it is as soon as you spread out. About 2-3 secs.

2. Jeb Corliss has the record for lowest deploy I think, he opened and touched ground 2-3 secs after.

3. Not always, most basejumps are so low that you dont have enough time to deploy a reserve.

4. After 5 secounds you get to terminal velocity.
