You should tape your tires it helps a lot with the balooning and you won't be ripping tires off of rims when you drive on the to side wheeles

hey, can you help me... i got a t maxx 2.5 for christmas, and the spur gear spins freely in both directions... and the truck jerks when i pull the trottle from a complete stop... i havnt got it broke in yet and im on the third tank.. i checked the tranny and it seems fine, and i checked the spur gear and clutch bell... so what could it be? it seems like its not catching in first gear, then once it gets up to about 10mph its seems fine... so anyway please reply back.

tighten the spur gear all the way down then back off like 1/4 turn, the jerking is normal do a forward only conversion and it will be fine, its just from the reverse.

@MRimports4life might be to lean? are you saying it revs then suddenly engadges? cuz thats a clutch bell problem. or a slipper clutch problem

You did such a great job on tuning the T-maxx that I think us Traxxas fans should call up the Traxxas company and put this on their websites don't all you other Traxxas owners out there agree with me LOL =) HPI company is no match for this kind bashing and for this kind of great tuning no wonder t-maxxe's are the best selling monster truck

i don't think anyone would, they use soft material and generally RC noobs buy them and don't realise the difference.

i bought Golden Horizons ones and i'm pretty pleased with them for their cost. otherwise there's FLM and all the other expensive ones.....
