@MissNellGwynne I strangely agree with you, until you've listened through Una Mattina, it doesn't really do this song much justice, it worked nicely in This is England. But that was a very controversial film about some quite racey subjects, this song with the entire album is a completely different experience... Or something like that.

Soundtracks and the music in movies are completely different things; the music is in itself a display of talent and ability to entertain and, in my case, reduce to tears :') Ludovico's music is something no human will ever be able to replicate, in my opinion.

And I actually like the common motifs, feel and chord progressions than run through his works as Michael Nyman often has. some people brand it lazy, I think it creates a sense of unity and I like the fact all the music has come from the same source and some of them are like Variations of eachother. x

anyone else think einaudi's musics all very similar? he uses the same pattern in the left hand in most of his songs (e.g. i giorni, nuvole bianche) and he starts off quietly, bulids up, builds up more and then repeats. Anyway his music is no doubt beautiful, but it's just a thought ;). When i heard this in This Is England i was like OMG. And nice windows pics x)

Hmm the film This is England first introduced me to Einaudi's music and for that I am grateful. The film was good enough to keep me interested, a look at working class kids, some strange images, some distressing, but all quite powerful, Give the movie a 6, Einaudi will always deserve a 10
