sweet band, hung out with them after a show in Indy, great roadtrip from Chicago...saw them for the first time in Milwaukee in early 90's, very very underappreciated group, definitely get their albums
Saw them several times in Iowa City back in the 90's and still have some memorabilia~ Poster of Joan, Sun 60 baseball cap, 2 CDs... GREAT band, and SO approachable!
>> USMC I know what you mean!! I was lucky enough to see them in Cinci, OH at a Bogarts! It was very likely the same tour that you saw. It my birthday, so I left work a little early to rush and get my ticket for what I was SURE was gonna sell out...
To my susprise tho there were less than a couple dozen fans at the show!!
Made for a very intimate performance!! One of my Fav birthdays!! I may still have the flyer from that show around so!mewhere. Wish I'd gotten autographs tho!!!
I saw them live once in Phoenix in 1994. It kills me to this day that they broke up. Joan's horn solo literally had the packed club silenced - you could hear a pin drop. People weren't even breathing. Never seen anything like it in my life.
one of my favorite track on there second album.

Joan Jones is still recording and performing, she has six solo albums and they continue to be excellent.
