  • John Oates.

  • VAl Venis < Rick Rude

  • Rick was off the chain!!! lol

  • I want to show all the women and you out of shape sweathogs in the audience and at home watching this on TV what a real man needs to look like.

  • this will never not be sexy to me lol

  • Never wil understand how he isnt in the Hall Of Fame

  • *looks up meaning of manliness* -see Rick Rude

  • my friend's mom wanted a rude awakening by the ravishing one, lol.

  • WAR DON FRYE!

  • Those were some nice rude awakenings. Fantastic move!

  • Rick Rude. The greatest Intercontinental Champion in my time. Arguably one of the best heels in the business. And what was scary is that he pretty much adlibbed every single promo with no prescripting.

Favorite moment: When he was on that Monday Night episode talking to Roddy Piper in the studio during the talk show, and kept calling the kilt a skirt.

  • In 2007,I become sensible and knowledgeble about wrestling.I was ignorant about storylines and reasoning behind the crazy stuff that would happen on wrestling shows on tv.

  • I was very UNfortunate that I missed so much wrestling since 1990's.I become wrestling fan in 1999.I really started watching old wwe and wcw wrestling videos in 2007.I didn't know that wrestling was scripted.Ever since then,I started respecting and loving Rick Rude more than ever.I love you MR Rick Rude R.I.P and we all miss you and other wrestlers that passed away so young.

  • He is dripping with RUDENESS that he has to flick that stuff on us?! Sheesh...

  • is it me or does he remind you of one of the scousers from harry enfield

  • Val Venis precursor

  • sorry, but he looked gay shit shit @ 1:38

  • If I got paid to gyrate my Wang and flex like that I'd do it

  • Oh man, just read on Wikipedia he died in 1999. RIP. He was one of the most colorful wrestlers back in the day.

  • That's a funny thing about many of the most hated and legendary heels in WWE history. Just about all of them are some of the nicest guys on the payroll.

  • Greatest wrestler never to win the wwe championship...

  • rick rude

  • Man, with all those women he kissed during his career, Rick was the Richard Dawson of wrestling.

  • As far as I know, Rude never played anything but the heel. One of the best heels ever! He was so damned good at it! Vince never should have let him go in the early 90s, but because he did, those of us who were around at the time got to see some amazing matches between Rude and Steamboat in WCW.

  • @jsumudio Actually, around 1986, Rick Rude wrestled for Dallas-based World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) where he was a face as well as the Americas Champion; but that as well as the title reign were short-lived. Rude wasn't fired from WWE in 1990. He had a falling out with Vince when he found out he got paid much less than Ultimate Warrior for their match at Summerslam '90. Rude pretty much carried Warrior throughout that match. Subsequently, Rude signed with WCW.

  • @lakebay972 When I said vince "let him go" I didn't mean to imply that I thought he was fired, but that Vince lost a huge talent. I didn't know about the Warrior story though. Interesting.

  • CAN ANYONE HEAR ME WACKING ON TO THIS VIDEO

  • HOW MANY TIMES I LOVE MASTERBATING TO THIS VIDEO RICK RUDE IS SO HOT I WANT UR BODY MMMMMM DADDY O

  • @wrestlingjesus2O11 HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • I want his hair... chicks dig fluffy fros!

  • lol great actor...he really knew how to piss people off...Ravishing!

  • Awesome entrance music. R.I.P. Rick Rude.

  • When I look at it now, they could never get away with the kissing thing today. That was just hilarious.

Cheryl Roberts is supremely hot btw.

  • best heel..

  • RiP Rick Rude :(

  • @WNWwrestlingDotCom HES DEAD?!?!?!?!? O.O

  • @goko855

  • ddnt u know?he past away 12 years ago! .Where have u BEEN? lol

  • simply ravishing. I shall miss him

Did he ever have any kids and are they as ravishing as he is? They should be old enough by now.

  • He was one of the few wrestlers that could love and hate at the same time. Rick was the best.

  • 0:49- If that was me kissing that woman I would have probably came in my spandex.

  • Rick Rude > Ric Flair

  • in minute 1:42 he looks gay!!

  • it seems like you can break somebodys neck if you do that move wrong (o_o)

  • @Ruckislx He's just proof that dudes back then were masters of their art, now there barely is any wrestling and it's all soap opera, steroids and botches.

  • @aquarianbabe he's also proof for tards who thought attitude era was some godsent period of time in the 90's for wrestling. This guy literally defined what Attitude era should be, which interestingly he was part of the initial team of DX and got the animals for fans in ECW to eat up his promo against shane douglas by just wearing a mask!

  • Pure entertainment! hahaha

  • How does Rick Rude moves his hips like that? Not even Val Venis (cheap knockoff) can copy him.

  • 1:39 - 1:42 is too much

  • Classic! I miss the 80's and Ravishing Rick rude is awesome!

  • Everyguy wishes he was as ravishing as Rick Rude.

  • I loved this guy..Rood played his character to a T..one of the greats in my book..should have been WWE champ..and a looooooooong overdue HOF

  • only if i could be so ravishing

  • Absolutely love Rick Rude, but he probably wont ever be in the WWE Hall of Fame because of a certain stunt he pulled back in the day where he was on Monday Night Raw and Monday Night Nitro on the same night. Just imagine what DX would've been if Rick Rude would've stayed on. I rank him as the second greatest WWE heel behind Muhammad Hassan.

  • back then he looked like a pornstar

  • He was gorgous...Oh I loved him those were the great days of wrestling. R.I.P Rick.

  • man Vintage Wrestlers Were Great Performers Despite their in ring Gimmick.... now all we have is A faggot who Will Neeeeeeeeveeeeerrrrrr Give up for his Fans!!!!

  • u wont see any neck breaker as vicious as the rude awakening. one of the greatest heels of all time, john cena cant hold a candle against the ravishing one

  • One of the best that ever done it.

one of the best to ever do it

  • Definitely one of my all-time favorites. I've always been a heel fan, as he was up there with Mr. Perfect on my greats list. Both had awesome entrance music too.

  • @AwesomePossum27 i like the heels too lol.

  • thanks for the memories rick! simply ravissssssshhhhinnnng!!!

  • awesome memories, Rick

  • Rick Rude is easily one of my TOP 10 favorite wrestlers of all time. In my opinion he had the coolest outfit with all these airbrush-artworks and certainly one of the best entrance musics EVER! WWE should have already inducted the Ravishing One into the their Hall of Fame. I sincerely hope it's gonna happen this year.

  • @boelefeld i totally agree i think he is fucking amazing :)

  • R.I.P

  • Yeah, he had the best and hottest bod at the time. One of the first wresters I saw who used his sex appeal to grab your attention.

  • A swivel of the hips

    A flick of the sweat

    Simply Entertaining

    Simply the greatest WWF Heel

    Thanks Ravishing One!

  • the sweat flick was classic

  • John Morrison does not compare!!!!!!!!!!!!!Rick Rude was a bonafide bad ass!!!!!!!!! Dont get me wrong John morrison is great and is prob the hottest prospect but rude was a fighter, completely his charecter. Google stories about him. Layed out alot of people and was a better wrestler.

  • @Idol1983 lol not john morrison. more like randy, hahaha :)

  • he is the original john morrison

  • He invented the phase SIX PACK or twelve pack.

  • I like to wear a robe just so I can whip it off and do the circular with my hands behind my head.

  • i do the pelvic thrust with a robe

  • He is the man

  • Love the flick of the sweat

  • The Man!

  • sweat hogs!

  • I loved it when he wiped the seat from his head and threw it at the audience. It was like he was shooting his sperm from his little head (cock) at the audience.

  • He was so hot. I would watch wrestling and I'm not at all a fan. I only hoped I would see Rick. Too too bad he's gone.

  • BEST WWF superstar of the 80's.

  • i have a big crush on him he is so sexy and he isnt here if he was alive now i kiss them like that

  • He was the only wrestler I could get an autograph from when I was 10 years old. The popular face wrestlers were too hard to get to. He played his role so well that fans actually hated him outside the ring and would rather shout profanity than get his autograph.

I approached him and was surprised on how nice he was. He smiles in pictures with fans. I've been a Rick Rude Fan since. Simply Ravishing, Smooth Operating, and Hip Swiveling. Nothing can come close.

  • @Jsteed2381 lol people are so stupid, also lol at his other alias "hip swiveling", "smooth operating", i like this guy i have his toy when i was a kid, well i have most of them actually but didn't really invest that much emotion to the show. To me wwf back then was just pure excitement.

  • @Jsteed2381 Damn bro..you said it he did play his roll to the T..I aint gay but the man looked killer sharp!!!

  • @Jsteed2381 yea ive heard alot of storeisa about him being a pretyy stand up guy outside the ring and your lucky i never got to go to a wrestling event

  • "Cut the Music". I'm glad everyone here spots great talent! Kudos to you! You rarely see unique talent such as this anymore.

This is just as entertaining to me now as it was 20 years ago. Now "Hit The Music" and swivel your hips!

Thanks Ravishing One. You were the best heel.

  • thanks nzoplkj

  • Loved his pelvit thrust cud propa see his balls sumtimes in the gob in the gob!

  • whats the name of the song?

  • The songs called Smooth Operater, very fitting for Rick wouldnt you say?

  • Loved how he defeated Warrior for the IC belt at WW5!

  • Atlantic City Sweat hogs

  • "First of all I'd like to have all of you fat, out of shape..." :

    "South Carolina sweathogs"

    "Indiana idiots"

    "Mississippi morons"

    "Louisiana losers"

    "Massachussets maggots"

    "San Francisco sissies"

    "Pennsylvania piss-ants"

...to keep the noise down; while I take my robe off and show the ladies; what a real man looks like!!!

  • Nothing Happening New Yorkers is another one lol, Rick Rude was the man :)

  • Classic, man, absolutely classic!

  • CUT THE MUSIC!

  • good wrestling era!...very good

  • Love youre comment phastsm, i always thought so too. LOL

  • i want facial hair like that and get some tights made like that and have my friend mother and girlfriend faces on it ..lmao

  • This man made me wanna have million dollar abs, real talks hes a fuckin bad ass dawg

  • damn the perfect partner for Rick "the arrogance" Martel :)

  • Ravishing Rick and Mr. Perfect!!! Minnesota could not have produced two better heels. They had the whole package to make you boo them to oblivion.

It was sweet sitting in the crowd and watching them live. I would do it again if given a time machine!

Now hit the music and swivel those hips!!!

  • From Wikipedia

"attended Robbinsdale High School in Robbinsdale, Minnesota with Tom Zenk, Brady Boone, Nikita Koloff, Curt Hennig, John Nord, and Barry Darsow,"

With any type of entertainment, all that talent from one area, that is straight up amazing.

  • I agree with bigben0316, there are too many "in between" gimmicks today. The storylines of the 80's (and early 90's) made it clear who the Faces and Heels were.

Active fans in the 80's (I'm 30 myself) were fortunate to see great heel gimmicks that made immediate impact such as Ravishing, Honky Tonk Man, and Million Dollar Man.

  • You cannot compare wrestling today and back then. I grew up in the 80's (I'm almost 31) and the heels back then... there was a CLEAR line, you were a heel or a face, not ''in between''.

Best heels from the WWF: Dibiase, Boss Man, Rude, Savage, Roberts, Earthquake, Taker and some that I will forget but those ones made an impression on me.

  • he would kiss women then just drop them i love how he did that

  • The guy was in amazing shape...he had crazy skill in the ring as well...and unmatched charisma. Great great talent

  • The wrestling ability, mic skills, charisma...he did have it all. They just don't make heels like this anymore. I couldn't stand his guts back then but now, you really appreciate how truly talented this man was at his craft. Pair him with the Brain, you have the best combinations in wrestling history. RIP Ravishing One.

  • A Future WWE Hall of Famer.

  • He better be, they should show some real class and invite his son to induct him despite being from TNA, id give WWE and Vince so much props.

  • Bobby Rood is not his son, funny how he calls himself Rood, maby he was a fan of Rick Rude when he was younger?

  • @ZhouTai84 Robert Roode isn't his son

  • I sure hope so, but i think Vince still has something against him for being on WCW after the whole screwjob incident. I really think that Vince is not going to forgive him for it, even in the grave. To bad, cause he sure deserves a spot in the HOF. If Koko can get in, than this guy def should be in it. @RagingRambo

  • I agree with diabinhoUSA, you can't get any better heels together than Bobby and Rick. I also agree with ZhouTai84, the guy had it all at the time. Unless, you grew up in the 80's when wrestling was trying to find its way, you will never understand.

  • Rick Rude+Bobby the Brain. It just doesn't get any better than that.

  • The guy had it all.

  • one of my absolute favourites

  • he is probably the second greatest heel next to the great ric flair. i miss the 80's and 90's wrestling.

  • I'm glad everybody here spots great talent, stage presence, mic skills, and charisma! You are one of a kind "Ravishing" one!

  • "Simply" the best at selling his character. "Simply" the best heel. A unique talent that should be in the Hall of Fame if Vince McMahon puts his differences aside.

Now hit the music and swivel those hips!!!

  • HE WAS FREAKING HOT!!!!!!

  • perfect body in the whole wrestling world...damn rick..didnt i mention his mustache is cool too...

  • He came 2nd to Mr Maldon 1995.

  • LOOKED LIKE HE WAS going to SWALLOW that broad's whole head when he was kissing her !! LOLOL! and by the way, IS HE DEAD ??????? ( like texifornia13 says).

  • unfourtanly yes he pasta away a think in 1999

  • yh he is dead

  • the burt reynolds of pro wrestling

  • since it was the 80's - 90's i think he was more tom selleck AKA magnum p.i. burt was ok in his day but he never had swagger like selleck and rude lol

  • well i like rick rude anyways

  • I like how he used to airbrush his opponents on his tights during big matches, I agree he shoulda been a world champ! RUDE H.O.F. 2010!!!!

  • lmao @ 1:40

  • rick rude the best heel wrestler of all time. rick rude should have been at least a 5-time wwe champion at that time

  • 3 Things:

    1) Rick Rude should've been a mulitple time WWF Champion.

    2) Rick Rude was way ahead of his time as a heel and a performer

    3) I think I speak for all true wrestling fans of today's age when I say I wish Rick Rude was performing at a reasonable age today. He was truly one of the best, and would be if he was alive today.

What an amazing performer and Theme Song. lol

  • I agree on all levels. Even when I was a little kid and hated the heels, I always liked him and perfect.

  • Comment removed

  • Lo maximo con Rick Rude, una basura pero su personaje y su tecnica fueron de la PM.

    Salud

  • Rick Rude was a great character in the WWF as it was, will be sadly missed.

    RIP buddy...

  • 10 yrs since he died :(

  • those broads just melted. he was the man.

    R.I.P.

  • 6'4" and a great body. What more could a man want. He was one of those performers you never forgot whether you liked him or not. Simply Ravishing! Simply the best heel ever!

  • porn stache....always funny to me...

  • Why wasn't the WWF Title put on this man?

  • Because then they knew that down the line another wrestler would come into the scene and try to match Rick's persona and expect the same thing (Val Venus)...and many others, its sad, but true

  • morrison tries to be like rude no one can be like rude

  • r i p

  • Rick Rude, one of the most beloved wrestlers of all time

  • HIT THE MUSIC!!!

  • I am totally not into macho behavior, but I still have to say Rick Rude is the man.... A question for all you fat, weak, flabby, out-of-shape You Tubers...who is more of a man...Rick Rude or Tom Selleck....battle of the moustaches!

  • Ravishing made a great WWF IC champion. I wish they would have allowed a longer title reign.

  • Morrison has a better body surely!

  • Happy 20th anniversary to Rick Rude. It was today on April 2, 1989 that he defeated that annoying Warrior for the Intercontinental Championship. What a happy day that was. It seemed that Warriors over-inflated physique did him no good whatsoever. Seeing him getting pinned was a joy! I would like to have that frame inflated so that I could make it a giant poster to pin everywhere!

Rude showed that brains could triumph over brawn. I just wish Bobby Heenan had not jumped in when he did.

  • Thanks for posting tkillaz17! I appreciate people who know good entertainment.

  • Like him or not, he was talented, he entertained you, and was a once in a generation talent! I've had the privilege to see him at a house show. Thanks Ravishing One!

  • let's be honest here, This is one of the many talents that you love to hate. God how I miss them. RIP.

  • Yes! I will forever think of Rude pinning the Nitwit Warrior.

  • 80s leetness xD

  • Paul's mom is a fag!

  • mmm what a sexy ass mf.

  • When I turned on the tube to watch wrestling, guys like this made it worth my time. RIP.

  • Rick Rude & Curt Hennig the best heels of all time and they should have gotten title shots, but that's the problem with WWE, now it's Matt Hardy no major title shots. what a waist of great talent. R.I.P. Rick & Curt

  • Rick Rude should have gotten a wwf title shot. the company only gave him an IC shot which lasted only like 45 days. adlest when he was in WCW he made the longest us title reign of 378 days in 1 try and fgot more title shots too

  • life is unfair..time is unfair....rick rude, curt henning..kerry von erich..earthquake ..and many more to name...are by far best that all those clowns and puppets from wwe,at this day or age even the sir of the hotdogs or the lady behind the desk can be a champion...ha!

  • From 1:21 to 1:24, Rude looks like he is thinking of pinning the Warrior... clean.

  • if pro wrestling was not staged...Trust me he would have murdered the warrior to death like he did once backstage.....

  • Well, what we saw in the ring were the characters that these guys played. Even the Warrior called his "stage presence" the "Warrior character," so, yes, there is staging. I remember JR explaining how a storyline was so often used to make all of the action move at a pace that would be a thrill to the audience. When Owen Hart had his terrible accident, we then were hit with a real situation that took him away.

Pro wrestling is sports entertainment to show fighting between good and evil.

  • I think my mom made out with him one time.... Damnit.

  • shit...i miss this guy.

  • Hail Rude, the man who pinned the nitwit Warrior. May the Ravishing One R.I.P.

  • The Tom Sellick of wrestling..the Ravishing One..a shoe-in for the Hall of Fame and should have been a WWE World Heavyweight Champion..RIP Rude..you're one of the greatest

  • The warrior was good, but Rick was a total better actor, he made you want to watch the warrior.

  • Warrior was good at shaking ropes and doing electrifying poses....Rude was the total package and a better ANYTHING than the Warrior.

Better Mic Skills, vastly superior In Ring Ones.

He carried The Warrior's stiff ass on many many many house shows and PPV.

Rude >>>>> Warrior when it comes to pure wrestling talent.

And I'm a fan of both guys but credit has to be given to guys like Rude and Savage to make Warrior look like a geniune talented guy between the ropes.

  • Whenever I hear this music, I think of Rude pinning the Warrior. That was a great moment at Wrestlemania 5. R.I.P. to the Ravishing One.
