This beloved spiritual always brings a tear to my eye. The first time I heard this in church was by a soloist who sang and lightly strum it on a guitar during communion. One of the most memorable moments in church I've ever experienced. You play this so much nicer than I do. Thank you again.

this hymn really touch our hearts every Good Friday.

I use to answer the question of the hymn and i say: Yes, we were there. Because We were every second in the mind and the heart of Jesuschrist. His love is wonderful and even in those moments He was thinking in all mankind, bcause He love us.

So, now the question for all the people is: where are you now? are you beside Jesus in this Holy Week? is Jesus now in your heart like He have us in his heart?

I also love "The Old Rugged Cross" at the church I used to serve, one of the men there, in his late 70's, would always try to sing "The Old Rugged Cross" as a solo, but emotion would get ahold of him, and it was always my pleasure to go stand and sing with him, and the two of of would "rock the church" with praise to God :-)

It's gorgeous. I'm speechless. But never for long. I wanted desperately to prepare this to sing this weekend. I couldn't find backup with an intro and more than two versus. I wound up preparing an a capella piece (now on my channel), Hallelujah, What a Savior. I love that song too but may I please use this as accompaniment sometime?

i always use headphones to listen to your material, and you are absolutly right. it does make a difference. another thing, on your youtube profile page, you put a "warning notice" how your videos can be addictive, well, they are!!!!! keep it up!!!!
