In Hungarian it's 'csardas' this should really be the correct spelling and used as de facto standard but musicians and othersdo loosely use the Polish spelling 'czardas'.. this should clarify. Since the origin is Hungarian one should really use the Hungarian spelling!
The crescendo in the speed at the first part of the "riff" sounds amazing, the "jew" sound of the percussion an d the pauses at the violin. and how about the ending.
fucking amazing! abosolutely awesome. technique beautiful ur ability to contrast is captivating one minute ur serenading us with slow beautiful violin playing then you go WHOOSH! love it. love it. LOVE IT!!!!
okay i can understand not liking the interpretation they do of it, but to talk down to it is uncalled for, they're bringing classical music to a new crowd in different ways, so therefore u should be happy they're doing that. stop your bitching and listen to the music stop being so snooty.bleh
He is not so great. For starters he is rather too slow initially which can be of course his choice but i don't like it. Then hm..how to express that...he "abuses" the notes badly at some points (the scratching sounds are quite nasty) maybe is the violin quality that is low, i don';t want to be negative but the scratches are hurting my ears. I would prefer the drummer to be less "present" unless this is some kind of version "for the masses" that can't understand what quality in classical means
wtf man. the performance was ok,but he completely missed out the passage of false harmonics, and his intonation was a bit dodgy in some places. apart from that, its a fun one for the crowd.
Im doing my performance diploma on the violin. Ive been learning for over a decade, so shut ur ass hole. I think i know better than you. I learnt Czardas years ago, and I think i know how it's supposed to be played. I didnt say anything about his interpretation, I havent got thing wrong with it. I critizised the music itself, so be a good little boy and stfu.
Damn! He plays to slow at the Allegro! I've started Csardas in September only and I play faster than he does! And his microphone gets the sound "trashly"
why are even the crapy renditions of csardas haaving good ratings? whats wrong with all you youtube ppl. not saying this is bad. but there are other pieces out there.
That was awsome! That violin looks sorta like the $1,500 I was going to buy but we decided to buy a different one because it was too expensive. Great job though, I really enjoyed watching it!

Yeah, alternative spelling like "prolly" is for "probably".
Ask any Hungarian, it's Csardas, not Czardas. I'm Hungarian and have performed the piece for over thirty years..
Ignorance is bliss.

The drummer was way too obnoxious. It would be much better without him. He should have been building that house somewhere out of hearing range.
