  • .@TripleGhostRecon we just did ours no so bad

  • OMG I have to do this next year in 7th grade

  • The frogs are just letting them get skinned

  • i saw your previous video........... HOW CAN YOU BE SO CRUEL TO SKIN THE FROG WHILE IT IS STILL ALIVE * HAVE A HEART DUDE :@

at least catch a DEAD ONE so it doesn't suffer

  • @applejenn2754 The god damn frog is dead.

  • that is cool but even though it is already dead i dont think i can do that :(

  • so...scary O_O

  • if its brain dead wouldnt it still be able to feel the pain and why didnt you just kill it

  • @hello333able No when ur brain dead your not really alive . Like life support a machine they use to keep other organs in the body functioning especially for organ donors so technically your not living because a machine is keeping your heart beating if that makes sense. But this frog shouldn't feel a thing especially at this point

  • @hello333able

i watched the first video to it and one of them was smiling. "Yay we get to watch a frog suffer":D

Its not reflexes..It was blinking, and breathing, and struggling.

  • whoow, first when i saw the vids I was like...omg this frog is still alive (i'm 14, i'm just starting to learn those things so..) and you're cutting in it!! i almost began to cry (i'm an animal lover) but now i red those comments i'm happy it was brain-dead...and actually...it was very interesting! can't wait till i can do that!! =D

  • This is so cool, maybe gross, but totally aw3esome!!

  • i disected a fetal pig last year in 7th grade and took the brain out :D it was awsome!!!

  • @masterboy watever ur name is. It's mucle reflex I tink

  • just because im curious, why and how in the hell did the frog's eyes open up in part (c)?

  • this is so amazing so interesting, too bad this is illegal in puerto rico so it is prohibited to be done in schools. so i grabbed a cat from the streets and well you know the rest

  • @cheyamil OMFG NOOO NOW THATS CRUEL! I LOVE CATS AND DNT FCKIN KILL THEM FROGS ARE FOR DISECTING NOT CATS!!!!!!! GET A LIFE! GOD!

  • Well those who are not eating flesh have the right to complain but if YOU EAT, pork, chicken, beef, fish and all flesh. You eat what they killed or you killed, don't tell me ..."Oh that's exception because they are selling it to the market, groceries" or whatever your reason is.. still you eat dead flesh is no different from this one.

  • How can the forg's heart still be beating?

  • Dude/Duddete, what university/college/school is this??

  • oh daaammmm, i can't wait to do this next week xD

    tho, poor thing ;_;

  • is that the brain or heart??

  • @iyatski The heart.

  • dude in the other video par a b and c the frog was frigan alive and you were cutting it and i was like aww poor frog atleast put it out of its missery -.-!

  • @586lilkiller Its a dead frog. It just looks like its alive but its not.

  • @586lilkiller It was already dead. It was just a reflexive movement. Frogs do that after their death. And so do fish. IT'S DEAD, NOT ALIVE. God....

  • I wish there was a running commentary in these videos in which someone was explaining all the anatomy and physiology and stuff as the dissection took place.

  • wow what is that. plz reply

  • This is the heart of the frog

  • @xtjasmine why is it still moveing

  • @TehGabrillo well duhhh >_>'

  • dude! I watched the other parts, and ti scared me when it moved!!! sooo creepy!

  • this is fascinating i wish i could dissect frogs or other sea creatures like u

  • wow i watched all the videos it was interesting! i was never really explained to the the muscles would still twitch due to reflex! =D ty for posting!

(yes i do find it sad that the poor frog had to be killed.)

  • amazing its cool how it moves without living

  • it's already brain dead so it's as good as dead.. but how did u guys get a brain dead frog in d 1st place?

  • The frog was first put to deep sleep, then a needle was inserted into the frog's skull to stir the brain.

  • omg...

  • Obviously those of you who are judging by sight most probably never took a biology course or physiology course, if you did, you would know better that this animal is fresh but DEAD. You would know why the heart beats even after death, you would know why the animal has reflexes after it's dead. I eat fish weekly, fresh fish, it still twitches after 2 hours being in the fridge, clean up (no organs). It's DEAD.

  • @Punkylolita ...

fill up your knowledge! are you a high school student ?? this animal is still alive! talk about reflexes...its eye is still moving, its still trying to breath by its mouth..That is not refleses

  • @6533ful

Fill up my knowledge, how about you do that? I'm in University in the health sciences, not a high school student. I did labs like that in high school and college. You should research a bit more before you point the finger.

  • its still beating! haha, i gotta dissect a frog tmrw. any tips? haha.

  • if you look at frog disection (c).. you wont only say, wow its still beating, cool, etc... Poor Frog

  • That was mean.... :O

  • dude..........no.

  • omg.....

  • I don't know what's with you animal rights activist, but it doesn't matter if the damn thing is dead or not. I personally think it's dead. If you touch a (dead) frog's leg joint with a steel scalpel, it will jerk. It's just a reflexive movement. Frogs are not that complex, people.

  • Thank you, HeavyOrdnance!

  • @HeavyOrdnance

    Oh it is complex...to you

take a look closer, it's not jerking, it's struggling! I'm not an animal rights activitist. But I don't like people to show their danm wrong knowledge

  • omg tomorrow is our practical to school =/.

  • That's pretty cool that it still beats when it's taken out of the body.

What did you do this for? School? Work? What?

  • yup, its a school practical. It is still pumping due to the ions in the fluid.

  • which school are u in? and what did u guys do to stun that frog? the 2nd/3rd video was cruel to see the frog moved in pain...even though it was "paralyze" which still means it could feel the pain from it...

  • No, those are all reflexes. Its already brain dead before dissection, so it wont know or feel any pain at all. Check the textbooks. I'm also surprised when the frog opened its eyes, but my professor assured me its just reflexes.

  • @xtjasmine yep... its widely accepted that the spinal cord does not contribute to the sense of 'conciousness'... even though it does take care of alot of reflexes... that ultimately cause the face to wince... (even if it was only your toe that got hurt)

  • Ack... Its still beating!

That's kinda gross. At least you should use a preserved, dead frog. You shoulndnt let it suffer like that.

  • back off. if you really feel that way about dissecting a frog then why put it on youtube. if your desperate to get ur point across than go somewhere where people actually want to listen to your save the animals crap

  • the heart moved it MOVED

  • of course it moved, the frog was stunned so they could disect it, it wasnt dead but it couldnt feel a thing, if your are cut open while you are alive and your heart is taken out of you it still beats

  • thats gonna hurt in the morning

  • i cant see very well is it the heart??

  • lol

  • lol

  • your so mean! cutting open live frog for fun! i can't belive you!

  • its breathing!! means its alive!! how can u do this... how can u know for sure its brain dead. It can't communicate

  • hmmm i know it already dead and just reflexes but did u feel weird after doing this just asking

  • WTF!!! the hearts still beating!

  • what organ is that little contracting lump

  • PETRI DISH!!! omg i love petri dishes, but not ones with organs in them...yuck.
