  • wow

  • ha ! two and a half thousand hits, no lyrics. gotta love the internet . but really, well done, even the guitar looks like RJ's

  • Very nice!

  • WELL DONE

  • how do you call this kind of blues ?

  • It's called "Delta Blues" because it originated in what is known as the delta region in the deep south of the United States.

Robert Johnson, among many other great blues players from the early 20th century created this type of music and could really be called the forefathers of rock and roll.

Robert Johnson was the leading influence on people such as Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, John Mayall, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page.

  • awesome!

  • This song is really 22-20 Blues, by Skip James from the '20's. (R Johnson was a young Johnny-come-lately who covered this song in the '30's) Johnson was ok, but he shouldn't overshadow better blues artists from the '20's such as Blind Blake, Skip James.

    -

Blues popularity started in the early '20's with divas like Bessie Smith. It then shifted to guitarists in the later 20's. (By the 30's, when Johnson came up, blues was on the downslide)

    -

Johnson's ok, but try Blind Blake, or James.

  • Comment removed

  • you must be the music police

  • Beautiful. Thank you so much!

  • tops - man - keep on pluckn'...............

  • it seems most of the songs youve posted have been by robert johnson, not the people you cite.

  • LOL

  • Awesome! Great playing!

  • fucking awsome

  • One of the best versions of this tune on youtube. Great playing.

  • everyone who posted here complaining about this guy not calling this a cover is a fucking retard. obviously this young white teen isn't keith fucking richards, it doesn't take a fucking scientist to figure that one out and if you have even an ounce of intelligence you will read the info about the video which states he is playing keith richards version of the song. nice playing btw.

  • @RCLightweightBuddy by keith richards do you mean robert johnson?

  • @toothplease the original is by robert johnson however keith richards has a version of this song and it is a bit different than the original. the guy is this video is playing the keith richards version

  • @RCLightweightBuddy except the original is by skip james

  • @jeblegeza oh ok didn't know that

  • @jeblegeza Yes, but it was called 22-20 Blues when Skip did it... but same song. This was just in case someone wanted to look it up and compare the two.

  • You are really good ;)

  • There are lots of people playing this on youtube. You're up there with the best of them.

  • CALL IT A COVER MAN

  • If you're not Keith Richards - don't post it as Keith Richards just so you can rack up 250,000 views - you ripped me & alot of people off - I didn't check it out to hear you - you're clean & fast but not much character to the sound - call it like it is - A COVER.

  • cool. kieth ,keep it up .

  • this is amazing... would love to get a tab

  • Why did you attribute this to Keith Richards...?

  • Way to title it, "32-20 Blues - Keith Richards"

  • FANTASTIC!!!!!!

  • Very clean playing. It was interesting to see Keith Richards play a Johnsonesque blues on another video and then this one. Technically this video was way more precise and clear. With finger style you can have certain notes ring, or add emphasis to certain notes in the picking pattern. It is one of the things you get for free playing finger style. You got the chops, now just add a pint of whiskey. For anyone interested in solo guitar blues, but don't know where to start, look up Rev Gary Davis.

  • This man is a killer.

  • Incredible rythm

    very nice

    respekt

  • nice job... cool pickin... BTW, I wonder how many of these "critics" make a living playing the blues... arm chair quarterbacks just comment but can't really do shit... keep up the good work

  • whats the tunning 4 that song ???

  • standart..

  • Really nice playing. Great vibe too!

    Never mind the stupid comments.

  • You played this very good but like other comments before me it hasn't much feeling or emotion in it if you but yourself in the shoes of Robert Johnson and listened to the lyrics of the song and felt that way while playing it would be even better but still it was really great well done

  • great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
