@kokikiritanpo I thought so, looks ands sounds really cool, bit too expensive for me though, can you recomend anything similar apart from the epiphone el-00? under £500. Thank you. (great playing by the way)
wow like that is so much.and so well done lad..... its not actually the devils song given through little bobby johnson like everyone thinks.... It was Gods tune in the first place...just my narrow minded opinion ..;<?
All you folks that'r asking for tab all the time, no disrespect but you should try to figure it out from the vids or a CD, it'll improve your guitar sense and ear.
@luk3y0ov0norton yeah, I was thinkin about the same thing but I was wondering if it was vintage or some of that 2nd class brand like Epiphone or whatever else.:))
great version, been workin on the original but am going to go over this one, great to have someone as a reference, thanks, sorry guys, dont think ye'll get the tabs for this version
@wooki321 Looks and sounds like an older model Gibson....Like Robert Johnson might have played. Keith probably has one too. I don't know the model number.
God I just learned so much from watching this video and the Keith Richards 32-20 blues videos. Must log off computer and practice my pentatonic scales immediately. Thanks dude who kicks ass on his Guitar!
Very very very good, I'm trying to learn some Johnson myself and I'm wondering how to make the bass strings muted while the other strings play notes and chords. Ive tried using my palm but it gets uncomfortable. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
I'm guessing this is pretty hard to play. How long did it take you to learn this? I play guitar and love blues but I can't play any of this type of stuff.
It's called "Delta Blues" because it originated in what is known as the delta region in the deep south of the United States.
Robert Johnson, among many other great blues players from the early 20th century created this type of music and could really be called the forefathers of rock and roll.
Robert Johnson was the leading influence on people such as Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, John Mayall, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page.
This song is really 22-20 Blues, by Skip James from the '20's. (R Johnson was a young Johnny-come-lately who covered this song in the '30's) Johnson was ok, but he shouldn't overshadow better blues artists from the '20's such as Blind Blake, Skip James.

Blues popularity started in the early '20's with divas like Bessie Smith. It then shifted to guitarists in the later 20's. (By the 30's, when Johnson came up, blues was on the downslide)
everyone who posted here complaining about this guy not calling this a cover is a fucking retard. obviously this young white teen isn't keith fucking richards, it doesn't take a fucking scientist to figure that one out and if you have even an ounce of intelligence you will read the info about the video which states he is playing keith richards version of the song. nice playing btw.
@toothplease the original is by robert johnson however keith richards has a version of this song and it is a bit different than the original. the guy is this video is playing the keith richards version
@jeblegeza Yes, but it was called 22-20 Blues when Skip did it... but same song. This was just in case someone wanted to look it up and compare the two.
If you're not Keith Richards - don't post it as Keith Richards just so you can rack up 250,000 views - you ripped me & alot of people off - I didn't check it out to hear you - you're clean & fast but not much character to the sound - call it like it is - A COVER.
Very clean playing. It was interesting to see Keith Richards play a Johnsonesque blues on another video and then this one. Technically this video was way more precise and clear. With finger style you can have certain notes ring, or add emphasis to certain notes in the picking pattern. It is one of the things you get for free playing finger style. You got the chops, now just add a pint of whiskey. For anyone interested in solo guitar blues, but don't know where to start, look up Rev Gary Davis.
nice job... cool pickin... BTW, I wonder how many of these "critics" make a living playing the blues... arm chair quarterbacks just comment but can't really do shit... keep up the good work
You played this very good but like other comments before me it hasn't much feeling or emotion in it if you but yourself in the shoes of Robert Johnson and listened to the lyrics of the song and felt that way while playing it would be even better but still it was really great well done
here a nice lesson for dis
