Great tone on that gear though. As good as this video sounds, in general, the recording medium misses tones you'd hear in person.

I used to live with this guy and see him play in practice about once a week.

As per the people saying this is bad music, art is subjective and the groove in this track is solid, its easily my fave on the album.

It's the stepping stone to most genre's you will ever listen to, and he is simply following a part of that music, except in a much more personalized technical progressive way. If you fail to see the basis of music behind this, and the beautiful progressive melodies behind this song, then you should probably take some music lessons, evan brewer is not someone to lose your musical virginity to.

It means like rock solo, as in fast paced willy waving on an instrument. No melody just fast playing notes that go together. To the guy who talked about piano, that is a beautiful instrument. A Bass Guitar is a rhythm instrument.
