I served in the 82nd airborne Div. for 8 years.(8 LONG YEARS)!At Bragg it was alot of running (longsteet),alot of training,if it wasnt raining we wasnt training,fresh haircuts every mon pressed bdus, highly spitshined boots everyday.Alot of bs.on the weekends if we wasnt in the feild,alot of partying and women (what happens down range, stays down range). any new weapons we got them first amd i kinda think we were more diciplined (maybe),and of course we jumped out of planes.

101st is more of a task force division while the 82nd is more of a how can I say Peace Keeper Division. Both are great though, AIRBORNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

101st in WW2 was Airborne. The Army has now made them Air Assault. 82nd is just 1 of the Airborne divisions but is more known than others.
