  • ポッキが美味しいですよ!

i love you vlogs! im in tha same boat as you!

    but

i haven't had the channge to to to japan yet, and its still difficut to form sentances! only simple ones! hahah

  • podziwiam Cię. I am from Poland. I learn japanese too. You are so cool! Pozdrawiam!

  • i wish i can be that good

  • omg your japanese is soo good!

  • "takusan boku ni oshiete kuremashita."

    That means "I learned it all by myself", right? I may be wrong; my japanese is quite poor. ^_^;

  • you know, that is a good question.

i did this one a long time ago and I don't remember exactly what i was saying haha. For practice I would just turn on the camera and wing it. Since I was talking about my neighbors i think i meant [takusan boku me ] ( allot, to me) [oshiete] (they taught me), [ kuremashita] and gave me. So i guess I was trying to say they taught me allot and gave me allot. ( i probably was just learning te form sentence combinations so i was experimenting.)

  • @crispix59

  • Your Japanese is better than mine. I only know one sentence!

    Watashi wa pan o tabemasu.

    Yes, I do.

  • Great ^-^

I understood a few things *proud*

    I'm learning japanese too ^-^

But I just started so I'm not very good yet ^-^"

  • あなたはよく花せますね?^^

  • You look kinda like that one guy from Grey's Anatomy. Anyways, your Japanese is better then mine. Heck, I'm still memorizing the alphabets.

  • こんにちは^^

    私は日本人です

    日本語とても上手いですね!

    あなたも私もポッキー^^

    Hi,I'm Japanese.

    You speak Japanese very well!

    Pocky~♪

  • how long does it take to learn the japanese language? does anyone know how long it takes to be fluantin japanese?

  • ahh, the holy grail of possibly all japanese related questions. All of us ask that along with what book is best, and how do we learn kanji fast amongst other things. It is all part of the journey- a very patient one. Many of us find our own study habits - one of which is practicing speaking online like on youtube!

  • Well, I've heard that it's easier then English, and it took me a year to be fluent in English so around a year or so you should be able to read and write, but only with practice and lots of it.

  • @hatemu I've heard that it would take about 4 years to become fluent in Japanese.

  • Thank you for studying Japanese.

  • 日本語 は むずかしくねえ なあ

  • SO...why do you study Japanese again???

  • まいにち わたし は にほんご を べんきゅして、 にほんご に すんで います。 その びでお は たなし かつた です。

  • Nihongo, jouzu desu ne. Gambate nichijo kawa oo tanoshimeru yoni nattekudasai. If you want to get better at reading, I recomend getting Comic books in Japanese. Funny Comics: Kyo Kara Ore Wa, Shonan Jiaie Gumi, GTO, Slam Dunk. Also, watching japanese TV shows are great learning tools for listening skills. Funny Show Recommendations: Mecha Ike, susunu Dempashonen(old show, not sure if its still is running), Ikinari Oogondesetsu, gugu ninty-nine.

  • Crispix59, sugoi desu. O genki desu ka. Watashi mo nihongo no benkyou o shimasu. Doitsu jin desu. Ganbatte kudasai. Hai, totemo muzukashi desu ne..

I think I speak a little bit like you. So funny!!!! How long have you been learning Japanese? I started last year.

  • Oh! Comment wo arigatou! I think it is so neat that you are from Germany! And it seems like you speak good English too! That is so cool! Are there Japanese classes in Germany? (how do you study?). Have you ever been an exchange student to America or Japan? I was just wondering. Ganbatte Kudasai!

  • Totemo omoshiroi desu ne. Yes I attend Japanese classes here in Berlin. I have started because I use to have classes in Jap. Tea Ceremony too. This is all about disciplin. Love your Japanese. I speak it the same way, I cry me a river...How many kanjis have you learnt? Muzukashi desu...LOL

  • kawaii!tabetyaitai!

  • I enjoyed the Pocky clip...Maybe I should try to incorporate some of my own Japanese commericals into my videos too..I like that idea

  • Haha, The funny thing is, one of the first things I used YouTube for was to watch Japanese commercials. They are crazy! I love them. When I was in Japan, I thought they were almost the most interesting thing on TV.... well after their crazy game/talk shows of course haha. What college do you study Japanese at? I am looking into colleges in Chicago, and Japanese is a course I would want to pursue there. Do you have any tips or advice?

  • Do you currently live in IL? If so, the Chicago-land area? I'f not, I'm just curious why you want to come to Chicago? Once I hear back from you about these questions, I will offer you some advice! Lata~~

  • Oh, im sorry. I live in the detroit area of MI. I am a Junior in high school and starting to look for colleges. I may want to go to North Western or UofC. both are on my "list".

  • nihongo no benkyou ganbatte!

    ippai hon yonderune!!

i like pocky too! theres so many varities of it!

  • A lot of Japanese books. You study very hard!!

Btw, what kind of meaning did you use "tyousa" in? I was not able to understand it.

Oh, I like Pocky, too. A strawberry flavor is the best!!

  • At 1:30 I say : " takusan omoshiroi mono ga chousasuru no ga aru." . In English - I am trying to say : " (Japan) has many interesting things to study." It is probably incorrect. I am sorry. I am afraid that I make many mistakes. I experiment a lot. Isn't that what "Chousa" means - experiment -? haha, shiranai...

  • "chousa-suru" means "investigate". "experiment" means "zikken-suru".

"(Japan) has many interesting things to study." is "(Nihon wa) benkyou-suru noni takausan omoshiroi mono ga aru". You can't use "chousa-suru" in this case. Ganbare!!

  • So complicated!!! I will try to use both new tango in my next vlog! Domo!

  • I heard why you study Japanese and I'm impressed!!!

    Please keep studying...

btw I recommend you to use "Boku" or "Ore" instead of "Watashi"

Japanese high school students usually say "Ore" or "Boku" as the first person word.

  • wow - ok I will change that!! In my textbook it says that Boku is for little boys and Watashi is for everyone. Hmm. it is probably wrong! Please tell me what is best.

  • yeah! Certainly the text book isn't wrong. Little boys say boku, anytime, anywhere.

And there aren't so many high school students who say Boku when speaking with their friends.

They usually say "Ore" at such time.

But, when they speak at public domain or talk with their superiors, saying Boku or Watashi. ok?

    Ganbatte ne!

  • Ok. It is confusing, but I will understand with time. I will use both Boku and Watashi in My next vlog. Will that be ok? p.s. I think your new videos are funny.

  • haha thanks for watching me.

yes, Boku is ok. Though Watashi is NOT bad.

  • I'm only learning myself, but should he only use Ore in certain instances to avoid looking boastful or arrogant? I can understand how it would be ok among your friends, but using it all the time could make him appear to have a big head (I.E. Narcissistic)

  • ii omoide dana /o\

  • Gomennasai... wakarimasen. Eigo de nan to imasu ka?
