The psp go is way better than the psp 3000. All you guys have to do is put custom firmware on it and then put all the games you want on it for free. Who gives a SHIT about UMDS, stop bitching ppl and use CFW. Downloading games is the future, stop dragging the past with you.

I definitely was not down for the $250 price tag, but I let it go down, and I just bought mine yesterday for around $100, so I felt like that was a good deal.

Although I really wish my 1000 wasn't stolen :/

I never had UMD's because I used my 1000 for emulators and homebrew, so I feel like the go is a good fit for me. Thanks for the review!

@itachi9374 Ebay, but you can also get a refurbished one from Gamestop for $99 + Shipping, and I'm sure Amazon has some good deals too. (Craigslist has them too, but be aware of scams and whatnot.)

I went with Ebay because you don't get to choose the color (or I couldn't figure out how) and I didn't want the piano black version due to fingerprints.

Overall, great device, had it for a few days, hacked it for emulators, I love it.

game downloading takes a while, so what you download the game and wait for it to finish and then you have it and can forever play it (unless your psp go breaks and you dont want to buy a new one) but that aside, why does it really matter how long it takes to download

PSP GO is not a complete console.... Its has not been upgraded but degraded... UMD is the biggest disappointment.. You have to download games and when i downloaded games in my psp 2000, it got full of virus and stopped working... I'd rather buy psp 3000 than this poor thing... i asked from a game store here in the Philippines if I could play UMD games on the PSP go, he said that you just need to modify your PSP go, and then you can play UMD games on it,, also, Piracy is a big thing here in the Philippines, there is a game catalog on which most of the PSP games are available, for a Very Very cheap price(a game doesnt exceed a dollar) so,, should I buy this PSP go??

well i got my white pspgo and i love it. its my 1st handheld. i never had a psp3000 but i dont want the umd and memory stick,. if your new to handhelds it is amazing. i downloaded all my psone games and im loving it. gstop has it for 109,00 thats good. less wear n tear without umd. if u have a psp3000, i wouldnt recommend. but if u want psone on the go, this is for u. it looks great, and the picture is better.

@MrTirelMan PSP 3000 I have a PSP 2000 SLIM and a PSP 3000 the PSP Go's screen is smaller and you must pay to download games and with a PSP 3000 you can play games for free just convert the .ISO file to an EBOOT.PBP or you can find converted games on the internet search "signed PSP games" but you will need a Memory Stick Pro Duo and the PSP 3000 is cheaper than the PSP Go so, you should get a PSP 3000
