@snakehead404, Yes, Q2 is definetely better. First of all, it has a fucking ambient, you really can smell the swamps, the halls and the floor plating of the ships you walk through - awesome experience. Q3 is colored like a clown and Q4 is over-engineered.

Q2E is retarded when it comes to music. I'm not sure why... I couldn't use it for more than five minutes without it screwing up on me. In Release 2, the player had a serious problem walking straight, and Release 3 doesn't exist... At least, there is no website hosting a download.

Try loading both packs using vanilla Quake 2, and you'll hear the new songs.
