I can't imagine Cobra coming bankrupt after They had Zartan and the Dreadnoks form a Rock Band to hypnotizing people and carving commander's face on the moon as a image of Cobra and after turning people into lizards with plants and all other thing including brainwashing the joes family and terrorflying innocent little children, so why they should be bankrupt for the second time.

What really bugs me about the DIC joes is that the GI JOE MOVIE was beyond a chuldrens cartoon it felt very very ADULT and RAW! Then you go to this DIC stuff and its even more cartoony than the GI JOES before the movie from SUNBOW.
Taking a step, a HUGGGGGGE leap backwards in a bad way.
@ColorsBright Yep... DIC underbid Sunbow to get the toon contract. DIC did COPS with high quality animation and stories, then really cut back on the JOE toon... a bit of bait and switch if you ask me.
