Sprint sucks. I bought the new Blackberry Curve 8530 the other day with them, on a 2 yr contract of course. Bring the phone home, NO SERVICE. Yet, on thier map, it said I would have great service. Needless to say, I took it back, and since I only had the phone for a day, my contract was voided. But they got me yet again, by MAILING me my refunded money for my phone which will take TWO WEEKS! Yeah, thanks Sprint, your wonderful!

I got mine a while ago because it was free. I hate it. I don't recommend it. There is no flash for the camera, sometimes it gets stuck, I definitely recommend having roaming and data. When I first got it, they did not allow custom ringtones unless you paid for them from sprint's website. The new patch may have changed it. I'd say get something else if you want to be happy.

There are only two thing I would change about this phone...

1. I would make the headphone jack 3.5 (witch is traditional) instead of 2.5.

2. I would have the SD card on the outside instead of the inside, where you have to open it up revealing the battery to get to it.

Other than that its a great phone and I'm going to see if I can get it by this week or so.

My sister and I have had the Rant for almost a month now and we absolutely love it. The only thing is that the keyboard doesn't slide out as easily as the Rumour but you don't have to be a muscle man to slide it out. lol. i definately recomend this phone.

It has a slide out keyboard so its a rumor rip off? The Rant has better quality camera/video 2.0 Access to sprint TV and music store and the one-click software. Plus the rumor has mp3 player yet it doesn't come with a memory card. Rant comes with one.
