What a master. His touch is indeed so beautiful and such impeccable playing. Few realize how difficult it is to play such a simple theme so magnificently. Everything is exposed and in order to pull it off in the way he does in this performance he has to be fully present for every note -- nothing just played for it's own sake but with conscious intention.

Beautiful piece, amazing how I have never heard of it before, but it's just thrills me even more that I discover it now!

Maybe it suggests that Mozart wasn't sure of what it was to be because he had in mind something very elaborate, which he would prevail upon everyone when he played it.
