ive just got the SLP LM1's on my 05 GT, none of the other stuff (i do have a tuner though)... and it sounds surprisingly close to that, just not at loud.

im not crazy about the raspy effect so im not usually rev happy with her (some day when the engine gets worn i wanna swap in a big block anyway)

but at like.. 2500-3500 rpm... the sound... my god... it sounds like a B-17 or a lancaster or something... im in love with the sound.. i always drive windows down.. even in the cold fall.

WOW. That sounds like god singing a lalaby to me. I love the sweet music of a v8. Traded in my 98 gt auto with true cold air and a bbk offroad h pipe and flowmaster SINGLE chamber mufflers for a bone stock 05 gt 5speed will 21K on the clock. my 98 out sounded nice but nothing compared to this. Great job on putting the system together to get such a beautiful sound. I hope my new 05 sounds as good as this some day. thanks for the great sound clip.

not at all, they are different motors, every motor has its own unique sound. you can't duplicate the 4.6's sound with a 5.0

I love the sound, I about had an eargasim when I first it heard it start up. It is very loud, but only when you get into it and from below 2500rpm

idling crusing around its no louder then your average low bass exhaust, stomp on it and she'll grab the attention, of everyone

ehh its alright i actually found a guy that will pass my inspection for the car so i went all out and put straight pipes SLP loudmouths no cats and long tube headers with a tuner chip ;)

Ya, I kept the cats on, so I wouldnt have any problems, still one of the loudest, and didnt have to take off any cats, and can pass inspection. Even with the long tube headers, Vortech, Tuner, to much to list, think ya get the point, it passes inspection ;)

Thanks man, ya I like the old muscle look. It wasnt done on purpose, altho I am glad it turned out that way, no spacers were used, but here are the sizes

Once uponatime, I had a Mach I, 351 cleveland engined, I changed only the mufflers to thrush (70´s for ya) and it had that nice snorkling to it, just like your´s! It did 0-55 in 9 seconds, wich wasn´t bad for a car that heavy with automatic. Sad to have to sell it!

it comes already programed for the Vortech, the only thing you have to make sure is if you take it to a dealer to have it serviced, that they do not touch or reset the car's computer, re-flashing it. The only other problem I have is it pops up a battery charge level low, and It's not, I dont want them to touch it cause again, the car is running fine and they would have to reflash it, then I have to take it back to my mechanicHope that helps

it can very well possibly be when the exhust was odne it was done at a different time then the Vortech. Which is silent and doesnt have a sound as other Superchargers or Turbos, etc. so this is all exhaust you hear
