please answer my question, i got the evo in the states, had lots of hills, loved it, moved back to my moms in canada and its flat, no hills to bomb, so ive been tryin to do standies lately but i can only get to about 90 then i bail, my trucks are really tight and i have to take my trucks apart to loosen them. I want to buy a switchblade, but i cant afford it at the moment, can someone help me with my problem?

hey man i recently got the evo with monster hawgs 82A. Im having trouble with front hand slides. i might have more luck when my seismic ripplers come. are you pushing your right foot into the groove of the wedge on the tail? and how do you come out of a slide (in your other video where you bombed that steep hill). Do you have to push back with the front foot?

@PeteRepeat00 The toe side slides are difficult because your foot placement is very important. Your toes are on the side of the rail pushing the board out, not on top of the rail. It's pretty sketchy to do at higher speeds if you aren't used to it. But for any slide you have to transfer your weight to the back of the board by retracting your leg. If you look at my other video you'll notice how my front foot is in place and the back pivots the board.

@tayler0528 okay today im having more luck with heel sides, i think maybe cuz my wheels weren't fully broken in before. But what i meant about coming out of slides, isn't to do with drifts but just slides on a straight hill, and i meant how do you straighten back up after a slide? I can drift around corners alright but the only way i can slide on a straight hill at the moment is if i do a 180.

@PeteRepeat00 Yeah I know, you have to be going fast to straighten back up. You just have to retract your back leg while you're still sliding, it's kinda hard to explain. But heel side is always easier than toe, at least for most people.

that was terrible advice. also, get a lower degree baseplate on the front, with a 52* plate and 15* wedging it makes the angle 67* which is terrible. btw, you don't just go fast and kick your foot out.

@incAshton I can only do a slide without grabbing the board on a heelside slide. i can put both hands down for a toeside :p But yeah, with the toeside slides aren't you supposed to have your back foot over the rail? But yeah, this is when i was just learning to slide, Evo teaches you to slide the sloppy way haha.

you should really consider flipping your waher over on your bushings those ones on the bears dig in to them and ruin them you dont get your total bushings use i ruined a pair on my bears the same thing and they got Funked up.
