watch secret russian aircraft of WWII and you will see that not everything was copied from the west and that even some ideas appeared in USSR before than in other countries. The first rocket propelled airplane was soviet as an example.
Russians have inspired themselves from the Focke-Wulf Ta-183 and copied(stolen) a British engine. That's how they made it. Russian designers claimed that the design characteristics of the Focke-Wulf were common at the time and that other planes had the nose mounted intake and the other design characteristics forgetting that these planes themselves were built years after the plans for the Focke-Wulf Ta-183 were taken by the allies.
The Russians used German and British technology (engines) for the MiG-15! They've got some inspiration from the Focke-Wulf Ta-183. The nose mounted intake, high tailplane, swept wings and bubble canopy were all German innovations. Russian designers claimed that these design elements were common among the fighters of the time but forgot that most of the planes with these features had their first flight 1 year after WW2 ended (enough time to get some ideas from captured plans and models).

The leading economist of that era made big mistakes and Stalin is one of the people who made alot of mistakes however he never made these on purpose and I think many in his place would make even bigger ones.
You don't get it. Stalin was a power thirsty moron. One of the reasons why the famine appeared was because all or 90% of the factories were in the north and the south was used just to take the resources and the products didn't reach the population in enough quantities. This policy was meant to keep all the states from the USSR under central control. Everyone who was against it probably got killed, these people were communists, not anarchists like you claimed.
Other people wouldn't have made these mistakes because they would have been more reasonable then Stalin and someone would have told them that something like this would happen but telling tat to Stalin was like saying: Please kill me!

@Lukeclout yep many ignored stalins central comand only to make smarter decisions, battles needed quick action and many times ignoring what stalin said was only way to get best result given that stalin never had all information even when he insisted on gadering as much intelligence as he could conducting meetings witch generals and high ranking engeneers as well as many aces and decorated soldiers. All in all he was just one man confused as everyone was at that time.
