  • Hi there,

Our dog Llesca was rescued in october, she was a run-away and the chain around her neck was tight to the point of choking.

We live in northeast Spain and it was strange when I started to find pictures of Carolina dogs, she looks exactly like one, there is one difference though: her large ears flop forward about half way up the ears when they are erect.

The thing is that we are, as I mentioned, located half way across the world, and as far as I know, there are NO Carolina dogs here.

  • Can you look at the vids on my page to determine if my dog is a CD?

  • We miss you Hannah :(

  • I have a rescue Carolina Dog I got out of a kill shelter in FL. I live in Macon GA. He is 4 years old and fixed and loves people. His name is Easton and needs a "forever home" My email is Rowdy4412@aol.com.

  • @Rowdy4412 I actually just read about a home that adopts and rescues carolina dogs . Let me know if you want the information .

  • Hey mike put a shirt on you fat bastard. Hard to have a credible video with your nasty paunch. Maybe spend 2 minutes thinking about how your video will look to folks at home before you roll tape next time? Jesus

  • My CD has light colored nose, eye liner and lips. He also has light golden eyes. Even his paw pads are light, not black. Spirit was caught along with his 2 sisters running in Macon Georgia. He just turned 6 months old. He is such a handsome and different looking dog, especially up here in NJ. He's an attention grabber for sure.

  • That is a chunky Carolina dog!

  • I have female dog that has all of these characteristics. I am sure she is mixed with something else. She came from Louisiana with my son when she was four months old. She has been the best dog in the world. I have been told many times she looks dingo and I have always felt she was part dingo. Today I was looking up dingo rescues and found the carolina/american dingo. I have run across several pictures that look so much like my Rose. My Rose is 12.

  • Cute girl :) My dog has a darker muzzle but we believe she's a CD. You can see her if you watch the Roux Singing video. Thanks for the info on these wonderful dogs.

  • She is very over weight. Females should be at the most 45lbs and a more greyhound high waist.

  • If I were to send you a picture of my dog could you confirm or not if she is actually a Carolina Dog? If so, my email address is mclainm@live.com if you email me I will send you some pictures back. I AM DYING TO KNOW IF THIS IS HER BREED. She came from North Carolina but I've always just assumed she was a dingo. PLEASE HELP!!!!

  • @bunting013

yeah same with mine. My dog looks like that too but smaller shorter body

  • Pretty amazing that you found a stray that fits the characteristics. It seems that usually the strays people find outside of SC/GA are some kind of CD mix or a totally random mix that happens to resemble a CD in some way. Great video!

  • I have a CD with different color eyes. One brown and one blue.
