This bathroom was approx. 8' deep (front to back) by just over 5' wide. With a standard tub size being 60" / 5' wide, the extra little shelf portion was added to accommodate for the discrepancy in the room dimension. That way, we were able to work around the window location without having to bring the vanity or toilet any farther into the room, as the existing entrance door location was the other factor that had to be worked around - and the budget didn't allow for that ;-)
Nice work..I have a question. When you installed the cement board over the tub did you rest it on the tub or did you leave a gap? what's a better way?
