@turkey08041954 - I wasnt looking for an excuse to hate Rhydian but upon listening to Katherine Jenkins, yes she vibratos and ad libs considerably but the amount of core support she has behind that head voice of hers is crazy I mean ridiculous, it's only when she hads over to Rhydian that you can really hear his voice, but yeah she really knows how to bellow those notes out - class!

I remember feeling so excited hearing they were going to be duetting together. With her power and his velvety tones I was expecting something magical and inspiring. Unfortunately you couldn't understand a word she was singing, her vibrato was awful and their voices if anything clashed as opposed to gel/compliment eachother. For me Rhydians talent way surpassed his and just like Katherine Jenkins it appears these days you have to look a certain way to be considered talented/marketable in TV.

He LIKES her- he was just a bit too much of a gentleman earlier on -in awe and star struck. When he relaxed and let rip they were evenly matched but i do agree that his voice would have gelled better with Charlotte Church's.
