This is the best tutorial video I've seen for the X1, good work. My biggest worry about buying this thing was sub-par pitch control of the tracks when not using sync mode, but it looks like the pitch bend and manual pitch adjustment (in shift mode) are more than adequate.

As a former cdj dj who doesn't need to do a lot of scratching and fx, I would feel confident using the x1 as my only controller.

ok, X1 is great, but, do i need a mixer for a complete setup?... coz X1 doesnt have mixer functions right? (cross fader, volume, eq, etc...)

@nothingspecialtosee you can mix pretty easily with the X1 but yeah it doesnt have faders which is pretty essential with mixing.

@nothingspecialtosee from what I can gather just from seeing other djs use the x1, you run everything through a soundcard/mixer.

Good Explanations! iam total noob at Dj-ing or Mixing... But this looks good for beginning so i think i will buy this one before i start buying turntables etc

i think alot of people go digital cuz vinyl is soooo expensive.

i use digital, i really did want to learn on vinyl cuz i feel like one should know but i dont have the money to buy all the gear

the cue rel button doesnt work as shown using the x1 with scratch pro and audio 8. does anybody know how can i do it?

so the beat jump function only can make the beat jump by "1 beat "? is there a way to change it to 4-8 ??
