  • SUPPORT this song!!!

  • lol at 4:02

  • Super cool vid/music/lyrics..I havent been eating them since 1983..Love them too much...Thanka for sharing hhC

  • Very good video, congratulations, go on with the nice work.

  • I am a vegetarian but this song is stupid but really catchy lol.

  • I wish they would put something like this on TV. would make my year.

  • ANIMAL MEAT IS DELICIOUS

  • I adore this video, my son can watch it over and over. I must know, though, is that Cipes own wardrobe? His outfits are awesome :-)

  • Great song and message!

  • we eat the animals because they are really tastey

  • It's Christmas Eve, why must we eat the animals? I won't be! Vegan love to all <3

  • i am vegetarian all my fammilly is vegetarian!

  • Veganism could work on a global scale, but it's naive to believe it would be some hippie, anarcho-primitivist paradise where everyone grows their own vegetables. To feed nations would still require factory farming and fossil fuels.

Global warming is a natural process, which granted we may be accelerating, but a "solution" to it would just be to slow it down. We can't stop it outright.

Our current practice of growing 1000s and 1000s of acres of corn to feed livestock is wasteful.

    ... cont;d

  • @MerlinAmbrosius17

Tofu alternatives to meat have been made by Buddhist monks for centuries and are really quite convincing. I tried some at a vegan convention a friend of mine invited me and my wife to.

One of my biggest problems with vegetarians and vegans (not all of them mind you, I do have friends who practice this lifestyle) is their preachy self-righteousness and douchebaggery. This video is a prime example of this sort of thing. Plus the white rasta poseur thing is laughable!! :-D

  • @MerlinAmbrosius17 100% my opinion. Thats just what i wanted to write. Great comment :D

  • @MerlinAmbrosius17 What they dont understand is all the animals we eat are new we made them that way with breeding over time. If we stop eating them they need to die anyway they cant go into the wild so we would just have more of them to feed if we are not going to feed on them we need to kill all of them.

  • @STRIKER520 So because you created them you have a right to kill them? Does your mother have the right to kill you because she gave you birth?

The animals this industy creates are sick and cripple. If we can't help them, we should at least STOP making more sick animals that suffer from birth to death.

  • @adbgskdg4697 So tell me what would we do with them just keep feeding them keeping them alive and they breed until we just have farms of animals that we cant do anything with and take up more and more space then people starve since we need to keep feeding all of them. And your comparison of my mom having me makes no sense since I got older and can take care of my self farm animals cant plus a thing called abortion is around for a reason if a parent does not want a child.

  • @STRIKER520 Okay, lets approach it one by one.

1.Thousands and thousands of animals eaten by man every year are a result of artificial breeding made by man. Without having to eat meat, the number of animals on earth would decrease significantly. The amount of food consumed by these animals in one year can feed humanity for 10 years (I mean it, check it out!). Also think about water consumption, and global warming, all related to the meat industry.

  • @STRIKER520 2. These animals would not live among us if we didn't eat them. This means that by 1 or 2 generations the amount of animals walking this planet will go back to be more harmonious, and earth would be able to forget years of ecological damage.

    3. You think that animals living on their own can't take care of themeselves? Then what did they do all these billion of years people weren't around?

  • @adbgskdg4697 All the animals we eat are new breeds made to live on a farm you think a dairy cow was around thousands of years no we made them that way with selective breeding most of the animals will die in the wild I have never went in the woods and found a wild dairy breed of cow and for a reason they do not exist they will die and if they do adapt they will breed in the wild and destroy crops. So in the end they live and breed destroy crops anyway or they die and we got dead cows all over.

  • @STRIKER520 Imagine this: people are locked up in factory farms, being abused everyday, women are being raped for milk production, their kids're taken away from them when they're born, get locked up too never seeing their parents, never get breastfeed, getting hit since day 1, have 3cm to move in their cage, spend their whole life this way til that moment when they walk towards their death KNOWING they're going to die.

whould you say its ok because otherwise they wouldnt live at all?

  • @adbgskdg4697 We would still need to keep them on farms they would breed then they would have less space we would need to keep feeding them giving them medical attention to keep them alive the economy will get even more fucked up then all the people will die while the animals get all the food and supplies you are that dumb its you or the animals think of it that way so you may as well kill your self if it did happen.

  • @STRIKER520 Can't have a normal, respectful discussion, man?

Seems that you are choosing to ignore what I say. If you want me to keep replying to you, change the way you speak to me.

  • @adbgskdg4697 First off: The animals aren't getting raped

Second off: The animals don't know they're going to die

Third off: The animals aren't beaten every day.

Forth off: Yes I would, better a bad life then none at all.

  • @Dracorex999 don't know they are going to die?

    youtube . com/watch?v=X1bVLSfRNm0 (remove spaces)

and trust me, there are MILLIONS of stories of animals who cry and beg for their life. Is your next argument going to be that they don't have any feelings? spare it please. Do your research and then speak.

  • @adbgskdg4697 Alright, well my other points are still valid. If the animals are getting beaten everyday thats terrable, however not all animals are being treated that way.

  • @Dracorex999 Even is they aren't getting beaten every day, their life is horrible. they suffer from birth to death. Do you think the butcher cares for their welfare? the principle is to make maximum money at minimum investment. I wish I had enough place here to explain to you. I really wish you would look this subject up on youtube. there are so many reasons why animal agriculture must die.

  • @adbgskdg4697 Ok well now I'll bring up the best reason of all. Animals are delicious. Meat tastes good to us because it has nutrients we need. You can get these nutrients in plants but it is substantially easier to get it in meat.

And animal agriculture will never die.

  • @Dracorex999 and here I thought you are willing to be open and listen. of course having a 20 minute delicious meal is far more important than a living feeling creature's life. selfishness and arrogance is ruining our world.

  • @adbgskdg4697 So I see you didn't read my whole comment... oh well.

I am curious though, what is your goal? To make meat illegal? To take out the meat industry which would make millions unemployed?

  • @Dracorex999 they DO know they are going to die. Your just a selfish scum bag.

  • @Candynite First off, if the meat industry dies, millions lose there jobs

Second off, Your just a self richeous asshole.

  • @STRIKER520 4. I think you didn't get my comparison. I'm talking about the right to take someone's life, and none of us has it, even if you created the life you want to take, even if they seem unimportant to you.

  • @adbgskdg4697 You realize there are many animals that eat there young...

  • If vegans want their lifestyle to be taken seriously they need to try a lot harder than this goofy song.

  • because we can

  • Its not clear that either Abraham Licnoln, Aristotle were actually vegetarians, knowing both cultures they came from...they probably werent, as for Einstein, he probably did it for health reasons. the rest i wouldnt really put under that category since they were all for religious purposes, its like praising a christian for praying everyday...thats just what they do.

  • You know we really should save the animals and start eating the white rastas of the world instead. :-P

  • Because we are animals? Animals eat animals, we are animals so its right we should also eat animals.

  • Comment removed

  • why cant we eat the animals , we're animals after all , we didnt developed canines for nothing , if you want to be a vegan , your choice , i just dont see why many vegans try to persuade the world to live how they live

  • COOL!!!! go vegan!!

  • This video is making me hungry...

  • yes i know its sad thinking about killing them for a delicious meal and seeing there cute faces but animals kill humans!!!! bears kill humans so they are just as innocent as us! i dont like it when they test on animals and trap baby cows in a small cage and just feed it milk the whole life thts why i dont eat veal and i get non tested animal products!!! anyways i still eat meat but i get the meat when they let the animals outside! case closed.

  • 1 good reason why? Okay I accept.

    1. It helps their entire species become successful do to us making them breed successfully.

    2. Natural protein.

See? I'm being generous by giving two resons why.

  • If we're eating plants, wouldn't that just make global warming worse?

  • 1. God put animals here on earth so we can eat them

    2. looking into an animals eyes just makes me even hungrier

    3. just be cause you are a vegetarian doesn't mean you are rebeling against government & industry

& 4. FUCK THIS PLANET!!! I DON"T GIVE TO SHITS ABOUT IT!!! (the sooner it ends, the better)

  • @radewi1 there is no god XD

  • @ninjasinmybasement You don't know that. Don't act all high and mighty just because you disagree with someone else's views. Your just as bad as any fundamentalist christian out there.

  • @boonskety another christian, another irrational person :)

  • @ninjasinmybasement Belief in a deity does not make me a christian, and even if I were a christian, a person's capacity for reason is not determined by their religious views. I'm sure that you hold irrational beliefs in regard to certain subjects, but that doesn't mean that you don't understand and apply the concepts of rationality to your life in others. I stand by what I said, that you are just as narrow minded as the most right wing, bible thumping, warmongering "christian" out there.

  • @boonskety cool, as for me i think christianity as a religion is irrational. I'm warmongering? yes cause stating my opinion is "warmongering". Isn't it irrational that you automatically compare me to a right wing, warmongering "christian"? you sure do have quite the imagination there, explain your reasoning for that comparison. A religion may not determine capacity for reason but fear sure does play a big role. Not all religions use fear, but you have to admit that some religions do.

  • @radewi1

there is no god, my friend.

  • There are also alot of cows and shrimp on earth.

So why must we eat the vegetables? Why oh why?

  • Sure was fun deer hunting today!

  • cows pigs chickens sheep are one of the most populated animals in the world and thats because we eat them. So because our race likes eating meat they have flourished

  • mues sented me

  • @IAMAMEGAMANpunch sented? learn english fucking arab

  • i had a damn good piece of chicken tonight!

  • All this makes me want to do is kill living things.

  • Awesome, Awesome.....inspired, just a masterpeace!!! Makes you smile, dance, sing.......love, lovin it man!

  • I cleaned my hunting rifle while listenig to this sond :D but true, most people eat way too much meat. Quality is instead of quantity!

  • Animals have rights just like us!

The have the right to life and happiness, to the integrity and dignity, freedom and fulfillment!

The research results also show that vegetarian diet ; plant food, dairy and eggs is for the health significantly better than

    TO EAT DEAD ANIMALS !

I am a vegetarian since childhood and am very healthy.

So .. Please stop with the arguments as "a man needs meat because the proteins' ...

EAT MORE VEGETABLES ....THERE MANY PROTEINS !!!!!!!!

  • @sandraslavka "Animals have rights just like us..." WRONG!!! they were put here so we can eat them.

  • @sandraslavka

an animal wouldn't hesitate to eat you if he had the chance.

    Not tell me.

Why should we act any differently.

  • @sandraslavka Counter argument: While vegetables have proteins, meat is fuckin delicious.

  • Comment removed

  • I think he should go to New Guinea and perform this song

  • Go ahead and be vegan all you want that just means that there is more tasty meat for me to thrive on and not die from being in a vegetative state from malnutrition :)

  • we are all condensed matter what difference does it make if everything that lives WILL die...

  • @lovebigboobs29 I would rather trust the word of several doctors who did testing with their diabetics with a vegan low fat diet or a 100% raw vegan diet and saw great success with it, the study that showed better results with a vegan diet than the American diabetic diet and people with personal testimonies of complete healing like Sergei Boutenko (rawfamilydotcom) or Dave the raw food trucker (youtube on liferegenerator's channel)

  • continued than some random person on the internet as well as people in Dr Cousin's study from the documentary curing diabetes raw for 30 days than some person who never tried it and may not have diabetes

  • cont in additional to my own lowering of blood sugar with a vegan, whole food, 50% raw diet than someone who is so resolute because they take the word of people with a vested interest in making money off diabetes. It is the fat which gums up the lock and prevents insulin from getting into the insulin receptors and new studies are showing animal protein is also bad such as the one Dr Esselstyn did which dairy protein and rats regarding 5% turning off cancer and 20% turning it on with consistency

  • continuued

as well as the largest study every done on the link between diet and health the china study involving many thousands of people and a huge amount of study more than someone who believes everything they here. Most diabetes follow the low carb diet ands eventually wind up on insulin with amputated limbs or blind so while it may hold it off a bit if is not a cure like some of these people who stayed on their vegan/.raw diets have achieved.

  • continued Sergio has been type i diabetic free for about 15 years and has remained 100% raw vegan. Personally my blood sugar had dropped and I messed up in December one year and ate a lot of meat and felt horrible when I checked my blood sugar it had soared to 400 and when I did a 50 day juice fast consuming veggie and fruit juices (carbs) my blood sugar was 112 to 115 the whole time.

  • cont

This from someone originally with readings in the 400-600 plus range. There are cures for everything as long as one stays on the thing that cured them and does not go back to the SAD diet etc. I believe you arr misinformed but noone has to do anything they do not want to. I am just informing people of the books and websites of some of the doctors and people curing diabetes in case anyone with it wants to view them and then make their own choices whether avoiding carbs or animal products.

  • Love, love this song...AWESOME, inspired and absolutely catchy catchy catchy, my south african meat eating brother in law was even singing it!!! Ha Ha.....It has everything man this SHOULD be number 1!!!

  • Beautiful Video ♥♥♥♥♥

  • i rather live to 60 or 70 and eat what ever i want then to live to 100 and eat leaves for my whole life

  • @MotoX071 You do realise that you probably won't even make it to 60 eating 'what ever you want'. Also, you do realise there is a lot more variety in a Vegan diet than just 'leaves' right? Go and educate yourself!

  • @UniversalTruths my great grandfather has eaten meat his whole life and he's is 89

  • @NadinePT

    re DIABETICS AND DIABETES INFO

on your comment on what the American Diabetic Assoc said on a vegan/vegetarian diet.

That is great but sadly, this is not reaching the doctors, nutritionists and diabetic classes where so many people get dietary advice for their diabetes. When I attended a series of classes, it was all based on the old day method and counting carbs.,I mentioned a study comparing vegan to the ada diet, where those

  • @wowbenji Actually counting carbs is the way to handle diabeties. Its not the old way its the right way. Eating meat has nothing to do with being diabetic and thats a fact. There's no cure for diabeties either. Being vegan is not a diet for everyone and definately doesn't do crap for diabeties. Nothing wrong with consuming meat.

  • cont

on the vegan diet fared better and some got rid of the diabetes. When I mentioned this, several books on doctors who cured their diabetic patients (one even type 1) with a vegan, whole food, diet or a raw vegan diet and how my A1c went down to normal last 5 tests I had since changing to vegan and eating 50% raw. she only said "nobody will do that" and showed no interest in learning anything. I felt sad for the diabetics who thought she knew best. Yeah a lot of people would rather

  • cont

have their legs cut off, go blind and wind up on dialysis than change their diet. The studies need to affect the way they teach diabetic as diet is key to this disease. there are no incurable illnesses..raw vegan, whole foods, and lots of juice fasting.green smoothies are very healing.

Some books I recommend for diabetics are

Gabriel Cousens There is a Cure for Diabetes and his documentary Simply Raw-Curing Diabetes in 30 Days,

30 Day Diabetes Miracle by House/Seale and Newman,

  • @wowbenji There's no cure for diabeties. The vegan diet does nothing to help diabeties. Too many carbs is bad for diabeties not meat. Nice try tho.

  • continued

Generally doctors are not idiots or they do not get into medical school, 50% of doctors are gifted in the top 2% IQ wise and the rest are quite bright. "morons" don't make it in this field sir. I suggest those wanting to see if it helps try it for an adequate period without cheating and see if it helps them or not. Many have gotten off insulin or their medications. for those untested go forward some pages and see the names of the books and people I mentioned earlier.

  • @wowbenji Well these doctors are on an agenda. They are lying then so we wont eat meat. BTW diabeties is not curable. That is proven. So yes they are lying.

  • @lilymaxyway where do you get your protein?

as far as what you said on protein. Victoria Boutenko in her book Green for Life feels that greens should be classified as a different food group than vegetables as they share little in common. They contain huge amounts of all the nutrients but B12 if one eats enough they contain the RDA for every nutrient (but b12) and they tend to be about 50% protein

  • cont (but b12) having all the essential amino acids when you alternate the different types. The green leafy tops of plants generally contain several times the individual nutrients than the roots of the same plants (beets, carrots etc) Fruits contain about 10% protein and of course beans, nuts and seeds contain a lot of protein.

Also many doctors who have written books on healing people from diabetes and heart disease on a plant based (vegan) diet were unable to make a diet deficient in

  • cont- protein as long as it contained sufficient and normal amounts of calories. Also we actually only need about 5% protein and the average meat eater takes 3 times too much and the average vegetarian gets 2 xs too much protein.

Countries who eat dairy have up to 43xs more broken hips than those eating no dairy products and only plant foods as there is high acidic content in meat and diary and this causes the body to extract calcium from bones and teeth to try to counter act this.

  • @IamAmericanMade well if you compare the teeth of carnivorous animals they are All sharp and pointed while the plant eaters look very similar to ours. Also carnivores have long, bumpy intestinal tract where the meat can ferment and rot while the herbivores have short, straight tracts for rapid evacuation.

The china study largest study ever done on the link between food & health show those eating only plants had far less cancer, diabetes, heart attacks, osteoporosis etc The film forks over knives had a study which showed when rats ate

  • cont 20% dairy proteins, cancer skyrocketed and when they ate 5% they had none and when they switched the diet every 2 weeks from 20% to 5% to 20% etc, cancer went up and down. It did show those that those who keep all animals and animal products under 10% of the diet also had low rates of disease, so if meat eaters keep it low, they may still fare well. And it will still help reduce the number of animals harmed in the factory farms etc if meat eaters ate less and also helped their health.

  • cont-one reason eating animal foods is bad is they cause a person to eat far less raw foods and produce which are the real keys to perfect health...raw...the more raw plants one eats the better for a myriad of reasons. Remember red meats and chicken both have the same amounts of cholesterol so if you must eat animal eat fish and go half and half on the diary products (half vegan products going with less and less animals as you get used to and find good brands of vegan dairy substitutes.

  • I love this video..it always makes me happy when I hear it though the first time I got a tear in my eye. Great lyrics and catchy tune. Everyone in it did an awesome job.

Love the costuming as well. Just a great all round video with an important message.

I have been vegan 26 months and was surprised how easy it was to change really.

Also love ya Cipes on Roseanne's nuts. I am ticked it may be canceled. I think you have that positive energy that helps people and is contagious.

  • Haha I can't believe I only found this today.

  • this made me smile :') xx

  • Well, because they are tasty and because we were created to eat meat. Hence the canine teeth and sharp front molars. It is natures way for us to eat the animals. Still, catchy song.

  • cont and go half and half on the diary products (half vegan products going with less and less animals as you get used to & find good brands of vegan dairy substitutes.

Most people follow a progressive improvement of diet as they age and learn more on nutrition first cutting red meat then poultry then fish then going to vegetarian and then vegan and then raw foodist. Take in lots of green smoothies/juices (3 or 4 cups a day) as well which reduces unhealthy cravings and a host of other things.

  • wow I was execting to see a lot of hippie haters.

    Go hippies!

  • I know Greg cipes he is my bffs uncle

  • Another aspect of veganism that hasn't been talked over here, is the health benefits of it. Animal foods cause many diseases, such as heart and blood vessel diseases, many types of cancer, diabetes, obesity and more. Studies have shown that by adopting a vegan diet, one have good chances of avoiding those diseases, and even cure them.

  • Wow. Props to Greg who is my second cousin, even though I LOVE beef, chicken, turkey and pork. Thanks you animals. Hey, why not listen to our band the agreeables?

  • go vegan friends!!

  • Go Vegan!

  • AH! To live in a world of compassion! Bless! LOVE the song, the message, and the kindness extended!

  • After my husband & I being Vegan for almost 2 years and our daughter flex, (she would order chicken tenders when at a restaurant) after viewing this video she said she was not eating meat anymore. We went to a Thai restaurant that night and she ordered rice and steamed veggies...I don't know how this particular video did it, maybe the music and "light" message but it did it for her and I am so thankful! Thank you for making this! She & I have shared this on our FB page and with friends! <3

  • I'll tell you why, because we are naturally, biologically, historically omnivorous, our body needs animal protein, wich the plants unfortunately cannot replace. It would be wonderful if we didn't need them, but animals eat animals right, we are just included in the food chain, eating meat it's a natural thing...

  • @ouiebeib

    You are sooooo wrong

  • @MrNicoVeg It's not a question of who's wrong or who's right, it's just a question of opinion. I think you're wrong too so whatever...

  • @ouiebeib

We may historically be omnivorous but our bodies do not need animal protein. There is a large array of plant substitutes and fortified vegan food that replace virtually every type of animal based food in our diets. Scientifically, if you know about biomass transfer efficiency, the herbivores actually reap the most nutrients in the whole food chain.

I do agree that eating meat can be a natural thing, but the livestock industry is anything but natural. Look into it yourself.

  • @Narklesvarkles Animals are allowed to rip each other apart for food, yes? Everyday, all over the world, animals fight for survival. They, without any empathy or thought for age, sex or status, kill for food. It matters not to them how their prey suffers. A Buffalo can spend a day alive being slowly chewed to death by a pride of Lions. The suffering that animal would experience must be beyond comprehension. The moral aspect of humans farming animals for food is far more complex than this song.

  • @NarcissistsDie Yes, but there are a few things you overlooked. The actual lives that the prey live are in natural surrounding where they can graze, move freely, experience natural sunlight and tend to their young. Also buffalo and lions live on different continents.

  • @Narklesvarkles What's your solution for the vegetarian utopia then? How do we get the whole world to stop eating animals and how do we completely change the political and economic structure of an entire planet? What is your plan? Vegetarians maintain that animals should not suffer by human hands. They should be left to live their lives naturally. That's great. Explain how you will do that please? Explain how you will stop humans, the top predator, having any impact on the lives of animals.

  • Just because I don't have the perfect solution doesn't mean it isn't worth it to try and fix each individual problems. . The modern methods of factory farming are most profitable and also inhumane, environmentally devastating and harmful to human health in many ways. A step up would be to bite the bullet and farm in a healthy, sustainable way even if it costs the extra money, and for families to eat meat alternatives atleast 2-3 times a week.

    @NarcissistsDie

  • @NarcissistsDie You made a generalization, not all vegetarians maintain what you say, we are all individuals. Personally I promote small scale hunting over farming. As for getting the whole world to stop eating meat I can't imagine it but there are cheap, natural meat alternatives. And realistically domestic breeds have no impact on natural ecosystems (unless it is a negative one) therefore their extinction would not even cause a real problem except for with sentimentalists.

  • @Narklesvarkles You advocate small scale hunting. Tell me, how would you apply and regulate that in every country and culture on the planet? Familes on the poverty line living in built up urban areas, how are they supposed to go hunting? Who will license them a gun in somewhere like Britain where firearms are banned for domestic ownership? You live in a fantasy world and your ideology is well meant but flawed. This is my point with vegetarians who preach but have no clue about the realities.

  • My point was the exact opposite of what you took it for, it was being realistic. I advocate small scale hunting because in reality, in countries like my own, it is regulated and can be a source of food and income for the few who choose to register and hunt game. I never said I expected that everyone in the world could do this. I'm just pointing out that I do accept other ways of life, I stand mostly against factory farming. @NarcissistsDie

  • @Narklesvarkles So... you're against factory farming (which I agree with) but you're not against eating meat?

  • @NarcissistsDie Honestly, I don't know that myself. Personally, I could never go back to eating meat. I disagree with the concept that some people consciously eat meat purely for convenience or for it's taste and overlook the damage they are doing to the environment and the suffering they cause animals. Most people in developed countries have the means to be vegetarian, vegan, flexitarian ect and I think more people should try it. But it's up to more than the individual, it's cultural too.

  • @Narklesvarkles You see, it's all going a bit grey now. Consumption of plant based foods causes massive environmental damage worldwide also. What I'm trying to get at is what you really believe. As in, eating meat as a single issue. Forget the environment and all that saving the planet crap, the planet will shrug us off like a bad cold when it needs to, forget factory farming, forget cruelty to animals etc.... ALL THAT ASIDE, what is your fundamental reason for not eating meat?

  • @NarcissistsDie Consumption of plant based foods can really cause damage to the environment (actually consumption in general causes massive damage to the environment), but consumption of animal products is much more harmful to the environment. Keep in mind that cows, for example, consume about 7 times the plant based food a vegan person consumes.
