this is how i explain the diffrence between parkour and freerunning

you approach a wall

in parkour, you would think "how do i get over this wall as efficent as possible to continue momentum etc?"

In freerunning

"which vault or movment, do i feel like i'd like to do on this wall?"

The movements in pk and fr and essentially the same, its just how you APPLY

them

this was the core philosphy, but people have been misguided by flips etc

Well the basics of it is parkour is used to move more efficently and freerunning is based on tricks. There's much more to it though. If you message me I'll find a couple videos explaining the difference if I can find them. I actualy have a video comparing parkour and freerunning a bit, it could be of help I'm sure.
