Adventure 1 was one of my atari fav games when kid, I didnt known secuels of the game, the grafics improved, but the hero still is a single Square, weird.
@brianbjm1 Yes. You open up your ass cheeks, then when the dragon comes to do his business you close your ass cheeks, thus trapping the dragon. The same trap also works for Catholic priests and naughty uncles, although not with the IRS.
@nicholasthetaylor I like boxes to. But I dont get down about it. This game sis great with or without the box. But you can get the boxed version. I seen it on Ebay a year ago for 100 dollars or more. I would rather buy the game for 40 bucks at Atari Age without the box.
@brianbjm1 My video shows the atari logo and the ice kingdom. But not the one in the ice castle. That is where I believe somebody said it was on Atari Age.
@phonedork Hi, I am the author of this game. The 3rd bat egg is found on Vast game variations, like #9 for example. In the Ice castle, there is a screen with a wall which you must use bat "flight" power, or the bridge, to cross a wall to the right-side exit. On that screen, it is one of the tapestry screens - feel around on the floor until you hit the bat egg. Hint: all of the bat eggs are on the same X,Y coordinates, but on different screens.
@Cafeman2 This is awesome! You are the creator of the best game for the Atari 5200! Please finish porting this to the Atari 8bit computer! PLEASE! You dont have to add anything. Just port it over!
The bat is not in Adventure 2. It is replaced by the thief. Adventure 2 on the flashback is really just a hack of adventure 1 I think. Yea the dragons look more like sea horses now. But it gets the job done.
I didnt really get much of an enjoyable experience like i did with the origanal adventure

This might be my favorite homebrew ever created. Shame that the work on the Atari 8-bit stopped.

has anyone found the third bat egg yet?

This game looks bloody amazing.
If 5200s had more reliable controllers I would totally jump at picking this one up.

Not including this the closest thing on Atari 2600 to be considered a sequel to Adventure is Swordquest series.

Sweet, I had no idea there was a second Adventure. The ability to move the arrow rocks too. Hah....

I love adventure! Thanks for showing this, I've never seen this sequel. I'd actually thought it was an unreleased sequel, not a homebrew...
