I have Adobe Premiere Elements 4, but they just came out with a newer version. You should be able to get it for less than $100 USD. I really haven't felt any limitations with it, like I did with Windows Movie Maker.
Great tutorial! Now I'm wondering if you have a time interval setting on your camera if you could set the interval to every 5 or ten seconds and adjust the pieces on your board and not have to take each pic individually. I think in theory that would work, what do you think? I'm not sure what camera you are using but if it's a canon you can download chdk and add time lapse capability to your camera like I did with my Canon s5. Might be worth looking into. You give up some control for ease.
I'm planning on upgrading to a Canon soon, and that is a good idea for when I do. This would also eliminate any possible camera shake, plus keep the arms from getting tired from reaching up every time. It's fun to create animation, but it really can get tedious!
Very brainy ........ stylish MOAB shirt. Love the floral table cloth.
