forget carbon footprint think resource consevation...(even if its organic, from the other side of the earth, its still uses a bunch of fule to make it be in front of you.) choose to buy it or not vote with your spending, local make sence cause it uses less gas on top of many other good reasons.

Congratulation on taking the plunge and going Organic, if only the whole world would! I understood what the term organic farming meant when I realized that it was how my grandparents farmed from 1900 onwards - biologically not chemically.
