yo dairyboi, i think i noticed that kenny muhammads wind techniques tk-k-tks sound more "cloppy" sound less airy. when i try to do tk-k-tk inhaling it sounds airy than when i just to it dry, which is faster for me. which way is better inhaling or just none

when you beatbox it normally at the end, you started speeding up on the first part.

put your tongue on the roof of your mouth, leaving space on both sides of your tongue. breath in with your mouth and as you breathe, release your tongue from the top.

Ah, it's hard for everybody, man. That's no reason to give up.

It took a year or two before I was comfortable enough to beatbox in front of people. Of course, that had to do with shyness issues as well, but still -- it's something you have to commit to if you want to improve. And if one sound is too difficult or awkward for you to perform, you can move onto something else, develop your style, and return to it later.

I like to variate with the inward kch sounds while beatboxing. for example I like to make the inward kich snares into outward kick snares, but do a couple of inwards when low on air. makes it easier for me :D thx for the tuto, helped a lot :D

This is an excellent tutorial.

I hate to say though, but upon closer examination Kenny adds one more "BO" in his version...

"BO-tk-K-BO-tktk-K-tk-BO-tk-K-­BO-tk-BO-K-*BO*-"

So replace the last "tk" with a "BO".

Your version sounds fine though... I just thought I'd point that out.

Cool vid DBC. Similar technique to how I do it. I have been listening to Kenny do this on vids, I personaly think he does a b (kick) then immediatly orsh so it goes (b)orsh, try it, to me it sounds more complete when rolling the beats as it is then more similar to the bridge.

i would have to say roughly 5 days to a week with practice

the reason why its 'crisp' is due to the air going through the sides and i guess cutting it off

but i swear it sounds more like a hand clap
