The criticisms hot way out of hand that night because they were seeing their David v. David finale in jeopardy, because Carly was by far the strongest voice there. IT should've been a showdown between her and Michael...or David C. to keep the bitches happy. She was BY FAR not on the bottom performances that night and Simon was all "you might be in trouble" like saying "we need to get her out to make the producers happy".

Ehh this performance was mediocre,and almost none redeeming!She was my favorite contestant,but this just wasnt a good night for her.The beginning was good, then it got shreiky, then you couldnt hear her when she sang the line THE SHOW MUST GO ON,she should have cut the backup singers a little.I mean they were totally dominating her voice,you couldnt hear her at all during that line.But she did sing SOME parts very well,espescially when she sang,I can fly on my friends but over all a 2/5 for me.

She had moments in the song where she hit it and showed great technique. Then other moments where she fell off a little and did showcase her talent. If she had held it out throughout then it would've been a showstopper, but unfortunately more off notes than on.
