  • rad.

  • could seem poisoning if ya dunno at first in wild state before a relashionship is developed.

    Blessings.

  • @yodalantern you mean mushrooms? Well I have only ever had Libery Caps which are fairly common here. You just must see what they look like and then you will not mistake and pick poisonous ones by mistake. Once you know you are alright

  • this guy is one fucked up mess, sounds like a piece of shit, regardless of what he says, fucken speak english bitch

  • hahahahh

  • is he on mushrooms?

  • Since the book was so cheap, I thought I would take it home for a critical analysis.

The rhetoric is deep. This is noted on some reviews on the amazon site. Check his speaking engagement on Horizons 2009..videogoogle.. he's just trying to be some rockstar journalist, it's obvious! He even promotes his own band in a big chapter in the book. Self agenda anyone?

  • Yip, thought he would ;)))

I just think he is a bit of an upstart really who pretends to know, and doesn't know how to read and feel between lines.

I read a good critique of him which if I remember will post you by pm --cause these comment boxes dont allow urls

    thanks for your interest :)

  • @ :57 you break into a laughter..are you on psilocybe here? Or you are just natural comedian! ..as you do the peter sellers voice morphogenics... ;) haha anyways.... I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU zezt. I bought this book for $2.00 at one of those big book stores, on markdown..as when I first picked it up to browse it, being a student of mycology, first pointed there through psilocybe, I found some strange vibration about this book. Not a good vibration. Since it was so cheap...

  • All of Hinduism looks like one big shroom trip if you ask me. That whole religion is the trippiest shit ever, it's pretty great.

  • Tell me about it. I was so thinking that when i was 17 i joined the Hare Krishna cult! Cos the Krishna mag showing Krishna playing his flute looked so TRIPPY lol I even left home to go live in their temple (only lasted a week ;))

BUT when you look behind that facade you see the caste system!

  • so you think Hinduism is mainly to promote the caste? It is hard to make sense of karma and not lead to some of that kind of thinking.

  • well i think the meaning of 'karma' has been coopted by elites to keep a social control. They are known for this. Creating myths that keep a status quo.

  • I don't really get what you mean here. You believe in karma with a different meaning, Hinduism is a series of myths to create a caste system or politicians set up Hinduism for their gain?

  • Well, for example, I believe that life and death are cyclic. So that when I, you, her, him, die we then go to the source from where we came 'from' which isn't actually separated from life. Call it 'Darkness', 'Nothingness' 'Sleep' etc, and from there awareness emerges again. And as you feel aware awareness will feel aware again, though not as 'you'--what you think you are

  • cont)( So that is natrual, life, death, regeneration....

But what elites have done is to subvert the natrual meaning , and via their 'programming' make people think that if say they are born poor that that is their 'karma', and that the one exploiting them is THEIR karma. So it is a scam

  • so you kind of have an atheistic type view(i.e. nothing happens after you die)? There is no soul free from body and new bodies come from the collective 'nothingness.' Everything is chance? It seems this interpretation could lead to a moral relativism.

  • well first i must tell you: I dont know ;)

    I am --in the dark.

But I can speculate. For example when we dream we go through different vibes--processes. Such as beta, alpha, theta, and delta, etc

    Could DEATh be like that?

In sleep , delta' is the place of no memories, and is most regenerative. So is the Dark/Nothingness of death process like that from which awareness yet again emerges?

  • Jesus was a funguy. I believe in the love of Christ but I despise the bible with a fury. I don't even capitalize the word out of disrespect. Jesus would be cool, not the stuffy prick they make him out to be that would want people crowding into a church standing there singing horrible songs badly, and "worshipping" like the freaky pervs they are. They toot their own horns and preach to the choir. Me, God, and Jesus all hate that.

  • haha, you know, I feel I am learnin all the time. I think thats best way to be. staying as flexible as you can.

With this spirit i wanna recommend this book to you that i just readin ;) it is: Not In HIS Image, by John Lamb Lash. From what i have read it is very eye opening INDEED about the whole Jesus myth!

    For example:

  • Dig that many many Indigenous Peoples round Earth have been invaded by these 'Jesus -love thy neighbour- freaks, and have had SUCH sadistic horror and genocide inSTEAD that this cannot be errrm ignored.

Lash explores this in his book. A big HUGE mindfuck of the Judaic Christian cult is the 'VICTIM-PERPETRATOR' trip. This is where the victims of the abuse are made to feel it is GOOD and from 'God/jesus'. How fukin sick is THAT. check this book out!

  • see, before I read this (and other recent stuff) I kinda felt that there was a shroomy Jesus--if only we could get to the 'roots'? And no doubt that early devotees DID take entheogens. BUT when you understand how the VERY BELIEF system (salvationism) is rotten, then you dig that even with shrooms it is better well left the fuck alone!

  • I have had very similar thoughts lately and have been torn by them. I am having a hard time not seeing christianity as glorifying the victim. It seems like there are good and evil spirits, but I have never been to the spirit world, and while I was raised christian, relying on Jesus nowadays seems to inspire more fear by the fact that I am having to invoke something separate from me that comes with a story of helplessness.

  • I feel you! I wasn't brought up Christian as ...errr such, though on my b.cert. it says 'C of E'/church of england

But i got the MORALS...? you know?

I think the clue that it is against nature is where it wants to escape to heaven, and thinks this world is 'fallen' and ruled over by the 'Devil' which is ITS own invention!

  • well the idea of heaven and hell is such a polarizing idea, I can see the negative implications the minute I try to adopt such a belief system. Still, seems like the bible has some good stuff in it. Just has to be taken so metaphorically, it is difficult to decipher the 'real meaning'.

  • I find it deceptive, and dangerous, in that it is used to promote all kinds of oppressive behaviour.

I find it interesting in looking at it as literature. Seeing how it was composed. the layers its composed in (have you read John Allegro's The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross?) rather than a moral guide book. As it is a complete mindfield of contradictions!

  • I have not read it but am pretty interested. I have watched some presentations(one on youtube that was really good, but I can't remember what the video was called) that have given very convincing evidence for Christianity's basis being mushrooms. I haven't heard the argument against its usefulness though.

  • I am sure you will really be into this talk given by Dan Merkur (and others) at the 2008 Horizons - Perspectives on Psychedelics Psychedelics--i will pm you the link

A really important thing Merkur said was ""The drug experience has to conform with the existing theology"

Ffrom MY learning I interpret that to mean that patriarchally oriented groups from our past who use psychedelics do so within that context. This is important to dig i reckon

  • ziss iss too hartt too adestant...

  • I promise you I didn't do it on purpose BBBleaver, but I removed your comment by mistake again!!

Whjose fukin idea was it to stick 'remove' right over to the freakin left like that. YTs

    Oh well

  • this guy is awsome!

  • Thanks for the links!

  • Yeah. I have a pic of some ancient Greek art in my latest video called: Thank God (she doesn't have nukes!) It's at the beginning within the first 30 seconds I think.

    /watch?v=3ZURyzNB2_U

  • Amen.

    I like your new accent.

Wasn't magic mushrooms legal in the UK a while back?

  • you mean my french german anglo accent ? ;)

YES. they had this totally irrational law that was you can pick them, but must NOT prepare them

NOW the schucks say you cant pick them, and shops that had them cant have them now. AAnd they're a prisonable offence

these people are class A joke material

  • Yes. there is a little story about that book. I got it very soon as it was published. OK, I heard this bookshop had it, and i just HAD to go get it. it was a lovely day, as I recall, and i strolled out of the house, and EVERYTHING was like a dream, buses came right on time, it was amazing...everything just flowed

  • Particularly liked the suppressed giggling, zezt. Had you had a handful of shrooms before making this? :o)

  • "Had you had a handful of shrooms before making this? :o)"

    I WISH

nah, it was spontaneous sos i surprised me self and made me laugh....haha

  • too bad the psychadelic experience and even the mystical experience is so taboo in all organized religions, christianity notwithstanding. it basically undermines the serious, straight-faced, orthodox monarchic god-boss. it helps you see there ain't no democracy in the kingdom of god.

  • yeah, haha, exactly. All that po faced phony piousness would have the average shroomer dyin laffin. And pompusness doesn't like that. I was THE worst giggler in school, so I know yhaha

having said that. you of course also have real deep serious authenticity when it is not false
