Ah, this is one of those songs I exposed my young sailors to. They never climbed up a mast, but they did haul on a rope. They are sailors and we lived the life. I did my best to make sure they knew what had been a sailor's life before they joined and I think I did a good job. Don't ever doubt today's sailor... they still have the sea in their veins.
@leeaspell11 KISS my ass you troglidite, you wouldn't know a good BAND if it kicked you in the arse. // THE celtic connection R a bunch of numb nuts that can't write an original song. / I watched them play in a club in ALBERTA and they were booooed off stage for playing nothing but cover songs. // they need an ALAN DOYLE who writes ORIGINAL songs.
@superbanshee666 yeah this song sucks but you don't have to be a dick about it. So everyone has there own personal preference, you get over it and listen to songs you like instead of hating on ones you don't. Get a life.
Superbanshee666, if you dont like them that much, why have you posted on everyone of their videos, you loser. If you dont like it, dont look. Seems like someone likes to listen to themselves talk. Idiot

Who gives a shit who's on the song! Barry Kenny is tone deaf and the rest of them couldn't write a good ORIGINAL song to save their lives, which is why the couldn't make it in the music biz.
Hey usert663!!...Get ur facts straight...read the insert of this CD before you say it's not true. Alan, Sean, Bob, and Darryl were all present during this recording.
lol im going in the navy and i am from the rock and still dwell on it :), i love newfoundland and always will, hold your drinks high boys and down it with home pride for newfoundland
