Wahoo is a damn good fish to eat, very tasty meat and simple to prepare. I prefer just a simplest form.., cut the fish in slices from tail to head, about 2-3cm thick medaljongs and grill´em with hacked garlick-oil sauce, some grounded white pepper and salt.... delicious :)

We hunted Wahoos with my friends in Azores, last fall, I managed to make a shot on few, but I were shooting too far away due to my lack of experience and missed. My friends got couple of good ones and we had an great feast =)

sounds tops i am yet to taste the wahoo, i was spearing around a point out here in australia the otherday got a 4 kilo cod and a couple of painted mowong about the same size fresh fish cookup was heaps good, couple nice headshots i was stoked, i got a 1m bouchate rail gun double rubbers love to go hunting, peace bro

Great shot! I've got a speargun but i'm absolutely incapable of delivering an accurate shot underwater. I guess it has something to do with the breaking effect. Any tips on that? p.s. I'm from Holland, so there realy isn't anyone who can teach me.

Not sure what the 'Breaking Effect' is.

But try getting in a pool and shooting at a target . if you dont improve there is probably something wrong with your gun!!
