  • when i was younger, i used to hate the sounds when they leave or come into the station.

  • I have been on both EMT and FCC trains and i always try to avoid using FCC because of how amazingly inferior their trains are compared to EMT trains and because of the extra 25 minutes they take to get to london from Bedford. Every single EMT detail adds to the pleasant passenger experience; the trains are almost always on time, the windows are soundproof, the staff are friendly and helpful, the seats are comfortable, everything is just perfect.

  • Got a response video, filmed yesterday coming up soon. I filmed the trains from the end of the platform myself.

  • Cool, Thanks!

  • Great Video, Does St. Pancras Station have ticket barriers?

  • The Tube Does, The Eurostar Does and First Capital Connect Does, East Midlands Trains dont but thers usally someone checking tickets as you go on the platform.

  • @tgtrains they do now, they put them in summer 2009.

  • yeah thats right, now every platform at St Pancras has them

  • ask politely for the people checking tickets and in experience at FCC ticket barriers you can ask there and they let you through (at Cambridge and Huntingdon)

  • Thanks for that, most helpfull!
