  • The radiator was not shimmed out because the frame is a diamond shape.expcustom your an idiot, the car only has a subframe anyway, so the entire unibody would have to be diamond shape lol, Hes got enuff to deal with without lyou screwing with hilm on his first project, so shut your face!!!!

  • Small world. I found your charger on Craigslist in the Peoria area. Why are you selling it?

  • I've got a 73 Charger w/its original 318. It runs really well w/the original 2bbl Carter carb, no reason to change that. It's my daily driver and does great.

  • i have the same exact car man.i have put a 360 5.9 in mine and rebuilt it. if you have any questions hit me up. and the SE Brougham is rare. check your vin# by using a decoder. hit me up if you have any questions

  • @thethejonwatson awesome if u like the 73 chaeck out mine i got a little video of it

  • @thethejonwatson I have a 1973 se brougham, its pretty well optioned, white trim textured to match the vinyl top, why you say they are rare, asking in case you know some stuff i dont, just got my engine back in and starting to restore to a driver condition, its already a driver just making it dependable and shiny lol, 99k original miles and reallly untouched so its gna be fairly easy, plan on keeping this one!!!!!

  • man dont use a charger as your first resto

  • @bigduo99 too late

  • I almost cried when you said you're diezel herbert was living in an apartment.

    i feel you're pain! :(

when alls said n done, give that car a silverburst finish :D

  • That thing was in a bad wreck, look at the radiator support, that is why the thing had that bracket as well by the radiator on one side only. That means the frame is like a diamond shape. I would use this as a parts car at best, this is not a project car.

  • @EXPcustom actually under closer inspection its not a bracket, part of the radiator support piece on that side is just bent to shit. 10 mins with a hammer and it'll be fine.

  • @Teener205 its got a 318 v8, and the herbs got ruby 6L6's.

  • What do u have under the hood and what are u running under the hood of your Herbie (tubes) these days? Good luck, seriously looks like a lot of work to get that up and running. I'd personally just overhaul anything that isnt bolted on. Thats going to be one serious labor of love.

  • BAMF cassette player

  • clearly he never banged any bitches in the back seat of his car

  • A brand new cassette player, well at least you have music

  • No pipes? That's gonna be a bitch to replace.

  • dude, this thing is gonnna take a lot of work. i guess a lot of stuff you could yourself, it's not impossible. hope it goes well, and i can't wait to see the finished product.

  • man that is one fuckin sweet stereo lol!

  • Sick man! Good luck gettin' out of those apartments and I can't wait to hear more!

  • nigga , you dun goofed on this one, get out while you can.

  • @castout85 lol why?

  • @opiateofthemasses i was just kidden, good luck with it. lol

  • thats badass man..cant wait to see the progress on this thing.

  • april fools run forest run

  • I know a song you can do when you go back to doing music man...Adam Sandler's "Piece of Shit Car" you can play it outside sitting on the hood of the car.

  • @Poonard dude thats kinda harsh lol,the guy just dropped $1800 on it

  • @chrisonfire420 pussy's....

  • you said to tell you when we something wrong first i like youre page and cover band is really good so dont get to mad but you have tin foil trim you dont seem to have any body or mechanical skills get youre money back dont waist time and money dont want to see you playin an epiphone through a mg 15 good luck brotha

  • @rocknroor You know my family said the same shit when I bought my first guitar, "you don't even know how to play the damn thing!" I've only owned this car for like 2 days, so lets not assume I'm completely hopeless just yet huh? . It turns out that the starter in the trunk was a replacement and there was a bad one still on the car, not having even checked it out yet I assumed that the one in the trunk was the only one. Anyway I just swapped them out, and the car started up..

  • for $1800 cant go wrong. On the other hand its prolly gunna take about $10,000 to bring that car back.I'd prolly start by trying turn the crank pully, see if the motor is seized.U plan on keepin that 2 barrel lol? May as well chuck now, along with intake.Obv id assume ur gunna bring it back with 4 barrel. Also pull those, spin the crank see if its got any compression left.Obv the whole motor has to come out anyway, just doin this shit for now to see wut ur dealing with...

  • @chrisonfire420 pull the plugs* is wut i ment to say.Put ur tumb over the hole well some trys to spin the crank, just to see if the rings are any good.Pull the dip stick to see how well they took care of the car (or if they did).Fill the rad just with water for now to see if its any good (if it still has hoses hooked up)Pull those drain rad after. After that pull motor.Start strippin the whole car.All interior ,all the front end, bumpers lights ect.Got strippedd all the way down to the body shell..

  • @chrisonfire420 ..to get ready for sand blasting. That'll show ya how much of the floor has to be cut out, among any other holes u cant see atm.Anyway hope i didnt say too much. But u got a lotta diassembling, bagging and tagging to do.Btw my dad owns a shop attached to our house,we restore cars ,accident repair ect.Im not just talkin out my ass. "this is the altornater" lol that was awesome :P ,good luck

  • @chrisonfire420 yup thats the plan. I do kind of know what I'm doing, I've just never done most of it before lol :) Btw I got the engine crankin by swappin out the starters, so tomorrow I'll be getting it ready to try a full start up.

  • @opiateofthemasses Kool man :) If ur ready to take this on,already being aware a full resteration is in store.Sweet cant wait to see the vid of it turning over (or trying) .We'er actually doing a 72' Nova atm,and its about the same state is this car.Not hoples, just depends on how far ur willing to take it,time, money the person has ect.Btw wuts in that,318?

  • @chrisonfire420 Yep I got the time, patience, and funds and I'm fully aware of whats coming. For some reason everyone is under the impression that I think this'll take 100 bucks and a week or something lol. Me, the wife and some friends are working on this also I'm not alone. I got my repair manual, and as soon as I get a hoist the engines coming out and everything's coming apart.

  • @opiateofthemasses Yea thats the main thing man.So u forgot to say,is there a starter on the motor.Or is the one in the trunk, the one that was on the motor?

Its understandible. Most ppl dont restore cars. And to some who is not familar with wuts involved maybe sum overwhelmed by the extent of this. We've done cars for customer's worse then this b4.Obv in ur case alot of stuff is gunna be sorced out.Engine pulled, off to the machinist.Car stripped, off to get body and paint done. But disassembly...

  • @chrisonfire420 and reassembly can be done by the average dude in his garage on the weekends.Ordering up te new interior and install ur self, bumpers, trim and on and.Like i was saying u gave a good over veiw, this car does need the whole 9 (everything).I personally wouldnt take on a car for myself like this. But ive seen it done for customers many times, its a good shell to work off.

  • @chrisonfire420 yeah there was a starter on the motor that was crap, and one in the trunk that was good. I just assumed that it was the only one since, how often do you find an extra s in your car? lol

  • Fuckin beautiful
