just wish Robin would stop wearing that dead ferret on his head i struggle to watch him now. These guys will go down in history as truly fantastic songwriters and singers RIP Maurice
They are the Best! All their songs! Not a bad one in the lot( and there is ALOT!!) Everyone I hear picks me up and gives me a good feeling! And Barry.. Well Ive Loved him for 35 years now! ( i was 6 when he married Linda!! Lol) oh well i can dream,..
I am compiling a music list for my MP3 player. So far 15 songs on it but out of that there are 5 BGees, you just can't better music/songs than theirs eh???
The Bee Gee's will always be one of my favourite's - never known any band that has recorded so many tracks that I like. Great to see that so many of the public, the stars, and also the other music artists personally like the Bee Gee's. Here in England,in the USA,in Australia - you name it. Lovely to see the young girl at 1min 40secs clearly enjoying herself! At that age you don't sing / smile and dance unless you REALLY like what you are hearing. Long live the Bee Gees!
All the Gibbs boys were born with the beat of music and the talent of conceptualizing human emotions and situations with lyrics. As Einstein so well knew, nature is WONDERFUL.
Should've been a bigger hit in the US (#75 in 1987 US Hot 100), the success of their next song "ONE" (#7 in 1989 US Hot 100) gave this greater US recognition.
@Mr3wbc Big call. It's a great song but have you heard them sing Islands in the stream? For whom the bell tolls? More than a woman? There's just too many of them.
@zapkvr - sure have. been a fan since the late 60's when i saw them before they became really famous. There are lots of good songs they have made but this is just my own personal preference.
Barry woke up in the middle of the night humming the chorus of this song. He searched high and low for a tape recorder so he wouldn't lose it. The man really knew how to write a pop song. One of the best pop writers EVER.
The best present i ever gave was a ticket for her and her best friend to see them live in concert. With me off course, it was one of my moms biggest wishes ever. We were at the concert Live By Request which is on dvd. So personel a concert. Best money spent ever on my mother!!! Miss you so much, mam, wish you were here. RIP. Never for forgotten.
I listen most to hip hop. But at last i hear the most music. But Bee Gess are the greatest band/artists ever. I grew up with that music and i still listen to them almost every day. They always kept it real, down to earth. Not like many other artists who feel they are something speciel. So sad when Maurice died. My mother has been af fan since start 70.
Absolutly great group I love theirs songs, their song are romantic, energetic, happy and sad together simply immortal.. I am only 18 but when I first heard theirs song I was absolutly amazed...They are immortals..Barry was(is) very good-looking and great singer.Robin hmm he have some attraction I dont know what is it, but he is great singer too. And Mo whau I absolutly love him,his gag was great, he had a big charisma and when he died world was lost big man RIP Mo I will remenber you for ever :-)
Extrordinary gentlemen. Regardless of how popular they became, how "big their star" grew...they remained humble. Thank you, God, for giving us the four Gibb Brothers. How lucky we are to have known them.
@1Witchitait Robin is the most Rock and Roll of them, with is dark glasses, cool exterior but he has wry smile. Barry could have been a big headed pain in the arse but he is not. Most of his best work gets credited to other people and he doesn't complain. Robin and Andy were free to use his songs solo and although we all know he is a writing genius he never tried to overshadow his brothers. They said it was teamwork. He is very gracious. Mo just seemed funny and kind too, with great rifts.
Yeah, Bianca from Eastenders is there too (I don't know if you can see her in this particular clip but you can see her in several other clips from this concert).
i always liked the bee gees and their music, think they are the best group ever, except i loved andy gibbs music better. but i don't like how people treated them after saturday night fever, like in the 80's, people loved them and than they turned on them. bee gees don't have to prove themselves to anyone,. their songs and success says it all.
I hope these all get released again so that the younger generations can re-discover the joy and art of this musical family. It's too hard to single out one of their songs of as my all time favorite song but this is right up there! I want more air play for their songs!!! :)
@raffygrl2006 Im 18 and i love the Bee Gee's, i grew up with them with my dad listening to them on cd. i wish people my age could understand the compassion and effect these songs give to me and others, R.I.P Mo and get better Robin!. My favorite song is man in the middle.
@raffygrl2006 haha either its a coincidence that im 18, a radio intern, and love the classics such as Bee Gees, or it was just pure luck... but soon the radio station im on (Capital F.M) is having a day for requests and trust me i will be asking for these bad boys on, maybe a bit of Abba haha
I'm from a small town in Minnesota and I showed it to some people here and they love it, can't figure out where it came from. They must not have premoted it very good. This could still be a number 1 here.

one of the most fave song from bee gees...i was just 17years old when they made this video...i really love their musics and my mom loves to watch them performed...bee gees forever! i missed MO!
This is the exact video that got me into the BeeGees. It's so special to me, I listen to this and go back to when I was 7 years old (Thats how old I was when this programme was on) and I fell deeply in love with this song. To this day it remains my favourite and always will be. Thank you so much for adding this!
The Bee Gees is the legend, the entertainer.. although i was born in 1982, i still can feel their songs till today. wish if i died, i wish to be in their live concert in heaven..haha.
The best record they ever made, and one of the best pop records ever recorded, in my humble opinion. It's a shame it never caught on in North America as it did everywhere else in the world - this deserved to be a hit.
I would have loved this song then and I was wondering how I didn't hear this. I mean I was busy but I always had the radio on and I was bartending so the popular songs were on there. Your right,it deserved to be a hit.
In 1987 the Bee Gees were still battling obscurity in the US - they hadn't had a hit as a group in almost eight years, and they continued to be regarded solely as the remnant of a musical era that was, at least at the time, considered to be campy and laughable. Pop music in the 80s was becoming more commercial than ever before, and the Bee Gees were clearly not. American radio programmers simply passed on the single, despite the fact that it exploded in the overseas market.
Oh ok. Thank you for telling me that. This song is something else. I wish they would have been smarter about it and not passed on it. This would have exploded over here too. There's no way it wouldn't have.
A great song from a legendary band! I love Barry's delivery on this one. It's just such a shame that Mo died, he always brought a certain enthusiasm to the group that was otherwise missing.
Amazing !

A great song from a legendary band! I love Barry's delivery on this one. It's just such a shame that Mo died, he always brought a certain enthusiasm to the group that was otherwise missing.
