  • Looking at your threat and pointing an empty weapon at your threat are two different things. It takes a matter of seconds to reload but it also takes a matter of seconds for your threat to move to another location, out of your field of view. No one should have to look at there weapon to reload it, thats where practice comes in to play. And this is coming from a personal incident of mine. So be safe on the streets my brothers in blue

  • I did it the way I was trained. I know...I NEVER(If I can help it) take my eyes off a target. I was slow reloading due to a new gun and new holster. I was transitioning from the Glock to Springfield and just rebuilding muscle memory. Slow is fast anf fast is smooth. It's worked for me so far and God willing I'll keep on keeping on.

  • Looks Ok, just don't stick the gun out past your cover. I don't think you were resting on it. When you reload, dont look at the target, look at the mag well and get that thing reloaded ASAP, then transition your eyes to the target. Just trying to help...

  • No, you never take your eyes off of your threat. You should bring the gun to the close ready position and use your index finger to help you guide the magazine in the magazine well. He did it the right way.

  • Why would you look at the threat with an empty gun? I agree with you on all other points you mention.
