It used to really piss me off waiting an age for the games to load only to balls up just as they were almost done. Good memories though. Wish I still had mine.
My favourite had to be Dan Dare. I remember me and my best mate challenging each other on it, with 'Jack and Chill House that Jack built' blasting away in the background - maths homework forgotten...
Still have all my old YS mags in the loft - was recently digging out some stuff for the wife and found them together with my Starglider notes I made as a pretty sad 14 yo. Love COD4 & BF2 online but still play the speccy on an emulator.
I have a Spectrum Game of mine on the YS Covertape. Conman the Barbaric??? Got a 9 out of 10. Elven adventurers??? Check me out on the world of Spectrum. I am famous!!!
