@dswa2286 No, I have a video of it's full speed. This video and the direction I was riding, there was more than normal wind resistance so around 20mph. When there's little to no winds, it reach around 25mph.
@dswa2286 If you mean in general, well in that case, yes, unfortunately, I still have a gas engine lawn mower, but I might rig something for that or buy an electric mower if I see anything worthy.
@dswa2286 If there's a god and he is intelligent, I don't think he will like gas powered as much as electric powered. I think if there's a good god out there, he would want us to progress away from dirty old technologies, and we are.... Slowly.
@dswa2286@dswa2286 But I have lots of trouble saying progression in the sector of vehicles, as new technology enters the market, older technology is still being consumed 1000% x's more.. But it would be even worst without the alternative. There's only one alternative (at the moment) to my knowledge that should really take over the gas transportation demands on day when affordability becomes key.
@ioanpena not in my interest, I don't need to go 9 hours anywhere, nor do I want to. Batteries are good for a range anywhere between 30kms and 60 for the more common systems, but it's possible get over 60 depending on the batteries.
No, there's no alternator on this, though It has been mentioned to me hehe. Solar Panels would work fine, to trickle charge the batteries. I would not hook up a trailer to it tho. Not so interested in pulling something around.
@luc59457 Yes, even $1600 u can buy a great e-bike. My busettii Big 50 Mile Electric Bike had it for 3 months and it is great. My friends have other e-bikes but they are way slower and wimpier than my Busettii. I can get up to 60 miles on one charge and the top speed is about 27 MPH. BECAUSE OF THE BIKE paths and right shoulder of the road can go faster than cars across town. I want to try the new Busettii 86 mileVORTEX mountain bike soon ! drop me a line , Christine
It all depends on the Batteries AH, but for my current batteries, 25kms distance with new batteries. It is a prototype. Not meant to go far, best used when camping, or when the power goes out =)
This inverter lets me know well ahead of time before it cannot go any further. I could also connect a small 12v voltmeter to help, which would take minutes to do so.
Not sure what you mean by that. I have charged my laptop with this e-bike when the power went out. At 72AH (4 batteries) It does 25kms distance. I will eventually be upgrading them to 200AH LifeP04's
