FYI, -- Be careful with high-doses of Dexilant, and make sure to speak with your Physician about side effect of your medications! I think Dexilant may have been the reason I injured my shoulder through regular push-ups, and have to go to physical therapy! (My Physician confirmed the possibility of my high-dose Medication having the ability to weaken my bones and cause this additional pain, but we're still not positive of the exact reason) Best of luck!
@MOTACJ I have also had problems with Dexilant and my Dr would not believe me. It cause my blood Iron levels to go very low, made my sweat smell like a skunk and gave me a stomach ache because I think my food was just sitting in my stomache and not digesting well. When I stopped it all of these problems went away I even retested my Iron and it went back to normal.
I have an appointment in 3 weeks; I cant wait! I hate that when my symptoms get bad, it clogs my nose and I hold my breath in my sleep. Gah -- that's the scariest part. Does anyone else have it where one of their nostrils is closed all of the time? Also, do you have to keep taking medicaion long-term after surgery? I've been taking 60mg of Dexilant twice and day and it's made a huge difference; however, I still have mild constant throat burning. :-/ Good Luck Everyone!
