I just got the PK wizard 2, the magnet is extremely strong, you can do this with your hand at least 3 inches above the cards. get the wizard pk!

by the way this trick requires a magnet with more strength than a pk ring. There's nothing wrong with your performance it's just that the ring is to weak. A magnet with a strength close to an M5 would be best, but even then the trick doesn't look to good and it's fairly obvious magnets are at play. My suggestion, do this trick with a reel.

Edmand, first of all, you get an A+ for making this movie. It might look a bit more "magical" if you have the cards held upright so the spectator doesn't SEE you using the ring. Remember. Thumb tips, PK rings and the like should NEVER actually be seen in use. Keep up the practice and join the IBM in your area. They would be happy to have a member like you. I have some advice. If you were performing that trick for a spectator a REAL spectator (not your friend) but a random person they would say "you simply open the pack with the motion of your hand" and the ring really sticks out like a sore thumb.

a pk ring is a magnetic ring, so i suggest u buy a ring made of neodynamium magents, which are damn powerful, like n50, from this one website by supermagnetman. they wont break, like the manufactured pk rings, and cost half then pk rings.

better than gluing two cards together, peel the top layer off of a card, put something inside, then glue it back together more work but more convincing because the end product will be a lot thinner
