I was just in the mood to feel like it is Christmas so I watched this video again.

It is wonderful to see Randy and Geronimo. Since you told me what it means when cockatoos open their beak that special way...........I can see how much Geronimo enjoyes being together with Randy.

@Versibus Yes, Geronimo dearly loves Randy! Do you remember that Randy is Judy's son? That is why Randy is such a lovely person.

Have you seen "Sweetheart" lately? She seems to love you so much! I wish she had one person to give her lots of cuddles every day. Where she is a really nice place, but cockatoos need so much attention like a child. Can you visit her in the winter?

@nflower102 I left you a message previously,  but it did not post. Yes, I do have a problem with Geronimo plucking. He plucks pin feathers and then eats them as though he is craving them. I put Bitter Yuck on him and it has helped some. There are many reasons for plucking, but I am not sure why he does it. PLEASE RESEARCH BEFORE GETTING A BIRD, THEN RESCUE.

Well, I know it does not take much for my birds to get in the mood......I know that look in birds as I think I have become an expert, LOL

Casper-La, Ms. Sydney and Lucy Lu start to tremble and the moth gets going.....My males they just start trying to get rubbed, Sun Bear begins grabbing my finger, what a mess. I know to out them in the cage and leave it be, LOL

Birds are so demanding. I just wish everyone knew how much care and attention birds need. Then there would not be 600 rescue centers in the USA with waiting lists.

Yes, they are and some types are more demanding then others. I think Cockatoos are the most however......Greys seems to be a bit more independent as do some other species. certain birds I believe are less care then a dog!

It all depends but again rescue centers some are good some are not so good!

Thanks Joanne! I will try the dried cranberries. I hope I can find them unsweetened. Geronimo loves almonds too, and almost any kind of nuts. I only give him about 2 or 3 a day because of the high fat.
